IDK if Monsters is Soul Monster. I think it's probably not but who knows. If it is, the next "holy grails", IMO, are Seven, Thyme and Zodiac.

Your logic depends on: - Really believing it got delayed because of "sound quality" - Thinking they'd actually lose a significant amount of money by leaking the track - Not taking into consideration the fact the problem was "leaking" out of the hardcore fanbase, and taking over their social media and communication channels - Not considering the fact the vinyl was put on pre-order for months, and could have been likely almost sold out, or selling quickly - Not considering the fact people were cancelling their orders and this could turn things around The reason you think it's so dumb is because you're not capable of analysing the situation in an intelligent manner.

The fact it leaked on the very day the vinyl was supposed to ship but was postponed is too much of a coincidence to ignore. These preorders started in september. They had over 60 days to leak it (counting from when preorder started, and even more since they were worked on and recorded) yet it happened when shit hit the fan and fans were flooding their social media with messages and comments about it all.

Perhaps - New Guns N' Roses Single - Discussion
Cosmo replied to downzy's topic in GUNS N' ROSES - DISCUSSION & NEWS
I think it's also his sponsorship deals, etc... Let's say he used a vintage Gibson Les Paul custom shop, a Marshall JCM800, with a Cry Baby wah pedal and whatever (I have no idea if he did, just an example). Now he uses a Slash Signature™ Les Paul and with a Slash Signature™ Marshall amp and a Slash Signature™ Wah pedal. It's what always happens to musicians after they get huge. They become a fabricated version of what they used to be. They're not genuine anymore, they become a sort of cliché of themselves, to profit on the image their fans have of them and create an iconic image for themselves while selling their products. I don't blame Slash. I'd do the same thing. -

Just watched the latest episode. By far the best one yet. Now I'm actually excited for the next one

Yes, I don't get why they think secrecy is any good in 2023. Secrecy is not a good strategy in regard to their relationship with their fandom, it's not a good marketing strategy for media coverage of their upcoming stuff, it's probably just a way for them to not deal with backlash for their incompetence, like these delays and cancellations. However, if they wanted secrecy, they shouldn't have put The General as the B-side of the perhaps single on their official website. Damn.

Since 2016, my band has released 4 albums, 4 EPs, 1 live bootleg and we're currently mixing another EP, with a new album set for late next year. In the midst of this, we've had to change drummers twice. We released our last album on vinyl, all of our albums on CD and two of them on cassette. Our budget for an album is under 5k USD, and the last two albums have mixing that I consider to be at the level of Absurd, Hard Skool and Perhaps. It really shows how it's all Axl + management. A mix of not moving a finger to do anything new and incompetence whenever they do it. It's impressive, really. They're so dysfunctional, they can't release their second physical single in 15 years.
