  2. I for one think this sounds better than the leak. You can clearly hear a lot more going on, especially during the verses. The only thing that bothers me is how the drums sound, especially the calmer ones, that sound really digital and programmed. I’m not even sure they’re not. I like the vocal effects. I’m not a a big fan of clean vocals, I tend to prefer it when they receive the same treatment as the instruments, and become part of the overall sound of the song and its "aesthetic". The song itself isn’t bad, but its also nothing to write home about either. My second favourite of the released singles so far, behind Perhaps. Didn’t like the single’s cover. It looks like bad fanart to me. I could make something visually more appealing in like an hour 😂
  3. My mother in law worked for the agency responsible for the Marketing of Rock in Rio 2011. She was backstage that night. She said she wasn’t exactly sure why but Axl was refusing to go on stage for quite a while. She said it was a real headache to convince him to finally do it.
  4. That mistake was nothing compared to the shit show that happened on stage that night. I remember looking at Axl during Sorry and thinking “well, fuck….” It was just a horrible experience. The band came on stage almost when they were supposed to be leaving, cause Axl threw a tantrum backstage, it rained like hell and people were soaked and cold… damn it was so bad.
  5. I’m quite franckly impressed on how much GNR functions like an amateur high school band. They can’t release a fucking single on vinyl without pissing their entire fanbase out. I mean, really… how stupid can this management be?
  6. Ace and Gene seem like people I wouldnt stand being 5 minutes with. Paul and Peter seem a bit better but still kinda irritating.
  7. God they look horrible To be fair, a good amount of the GNR fanbase is, in fact, trailer trash
  8. Perfect. "omg KISS isnt a serious rock band, bunch of clowns" say the people on a fucking GNR forum 😂 at least KISS knows damn well they’re not an "artistic" band, and they act like they’re aware of this. The worst thing is when fans of bands like GNR, AC/DC, Motorhead and Metallica think these bands are artistically rich and "serious" bands. Like "they’re badass" "KISS are posers" dude, you’re a fan of a 60 year old dude who wears a top hat and indoor sunglasses that keeps posing while he plays. Please.
  9. I don’t get why they didn’t partner with Ace and Peter on this. Man, if it were something like “relive the 70s era KISS concerts", I’d be more excited for this than any KISS concert I’ve ever seen.
  10. I was thinking about this. While I’d still prefer if they replaced Paul and Gene with new members, wearing the same makeup, posing as The Demon and The Starchild, I think I would like to go to an augmented reality KISS concert with no hassle at all, watching a concert from their prime. It would be awesome.
  11. I mean… this can be said about lots of bands, including GNR. It comes down to a matter of taste. I personally think KISS, their music and their fanbase are about in the same level of cringe as GNR. It comes down to personal preferences, in the end.
  12. I’d prefer ig if Paul and Gene retired and they got replaced for newer The Demon/The Starchild, and this went on forever.
  13. Quite sad Kiko left the band. Love his playing, he seems like such a nice guy, plus, it’s nice to see someone from where I was born playing in such a huge name band.
  14. I absolutely hate the fact big metal bands like Iron Maiden, when they come to France, probably sign a exclusivity contract with Hellfest, and then, to see them, you gotta travel to Clisson, watch a gazillion bands you usually don't/won't like and then travel back home, being that 2 out of the 4 festival days are weekdays. God, I hope Maiden, by some kind of miracle, brings this show to Paris or anywhere near, next year.
  15. Can't wait to see it but it seems it won't be in theatres here. Loved Shin Godzilla, but I think this will be a bit less dark/gruesome, while still dark, kinda like Godzilla 1985.
  16. I like Gilby, I really enjoy his playing, but I'm not at all familiarised with his solo stuff. Haven't listened to a single second of one of his songs.
  17. Music video is out: Kinda low budget but y'know, it's just a music video for youtube
  18. This dude should take over the MCU at this point
  19. Probably because of the vocal effects, though. Ozzy would probably only sing a vocal line like this in his more recent albums. It's almost spoken, not sung. Almost a rap. Ozzy is known for very melodic vocal lines that match the main guitar riff, usually.
  20. I don’t see s lot of Sabbath influence, quite frankly. Not in The General, not in Monsters. Yes, technically everyone that plays hard rock or metal has, is some level, Sabbath influences, but I’d say the NIN influence is way more present. A lot industrial and numetal sounds on Monsters, that’s for sure. A lot more in common witj Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson and similar artists than to Black Sabbath.
