  1. I think on the next leg when The General's gonna be a staple in the set he will probably go all in.
  2. Well that guitar riff before and during the bridge from Monsters is pretty dope imo...
  3. One of his best. Too many to choose from. GNR alone... SCOM, NR, Estranged, Nightrain, The Garden(probably his most underrated solo), Locomotive outro, Don't Damn Me... ah fuck, I could continue with so many more in- and outside of GNR...But yeah, Back and Forth contains definitely one of his best...
  4. Ok let me get this straight. Your CD LP sounds like shit, therefore the NR 7" sounds like shit too? NR 7" proofes that it's possible to put 9min on one side, provided you have a good pressing. If your pressing is like shit, than it will sound bad of course, but don't pretend it's not possible, when we have proof that it is.
  5. Oh, I didn't pay attention tbh... but he should watch the show regardless. It's awesome 👌
  6. I have absolutely no idea I hope Monsters is a hidden track but I wouldn't be surprised if it won't be on this release.
  7. Yes, the general (no pun intended) release of the vinyl is still on Dec. 8th The 20th is the release date of the japanese CD.
  8. That Izzy has co-written Soma City Ward has been told here more than once but he has no credit in the liner notes. Publishing shares could give us more information.
  9. Ok my bad. Would be interesting to know what was said and how Axl feels/felt about all the solo stuff
  10. I fear we all get dissapointed when we believe it will be a traditional blues record. Especially based on the first confirmed guest vocalist. I still hope it will be somewhat Snakepit like. Blues oriented hard rock. I think the more bluesier, the more excited I will be.
  11. Forgetting about Hope is not the same as forgetting about FTP, though. It could be that Marc is right, but since we have different statements by Slash and Axl, all we can do is make assumptions. I always thought Axl talked about three songs he already used for CD, but that was only my impression.
  12. And according to Slash FTP origins from a later situation. I think from 2001 when he was working with some dudes from a band that I forgot the name of. Jellyfish maybe...? Blackstar knows for sure Edit: Eric Dover was the guitarist for Jellyfisch. These guys were from Blackstone Cherry maybe? Something like this.
  13. Cutting it off, dipping into his own ass, cutting in slices and frying in the pan probably... Sorry, didn't mean to be offensive
  14. But if Axl wasn't at soundcheck (which he usually wasn't), why not jamming on a song written by Slash, Duff. Soundchecking Beggars on a GNR gig doesn't mean it's necessarily intended to be a GNR song but it could be of course. Axl rejected the songs because they were too much southern rock. Beggars was the most Southern Rock -ish song on 5 o'clock if you ask me. They were probably working it out in soundchecks, that's all.
  15. He was on the pay roll as was everyone aside the AFD5
  16. Well yes, NR 7inch proves it. Edit: The experts who heard BH on The General outro?
  17. In 30 years I have never heard anyone complaining about the 7" NR. The sound is totally fine and there's no reason why 5 seconds more should make it sound significant worse. When I post the 7 inch and say LP then I think it should be clear that I mean the 7 inch, which is still a LP in small...
  18. Well, I really have no idea and I don't give a fuck what somebody writes on the internet as long as I have an LP that proves otherwise. One ist theory, the other is practice. Again, why ignoring November Rain?
