  1. Well, I said it before but I think whoever's expecting a traditional blues record will be dissapointed. Who's gonna front that tour is a complete mystery if it's gonna be toured at all.
  2. I was always pro reunion and I still am. I had a lot of fun watching them live and even though I'm not the biggest fan of the new releases, I still hope they start writing new music together. Of course I know that's very unlikely and won't happen.
  3. We'd probably had twice as many albums by now if it weren't for GNR
  4. My main problem with Myles is his songwriting and his melodies. I don't mind him that much in a live setting. That being said, it would be refreshing as hell if he isn't on board if Slash tours that record.
  5. I hope we get some news soon about Slash's new album. If he tours the States again in 2024 then probably in support of that solo record.
  6. What was Frank Sidoris doing before joining Slash and Myles? Was he somehow known in the scene?
  7. I'd agree if I said that I watched videos but to me, being there, live in person, it was Frank who sounded worst
  8. It's not about questioning the talent. Last time I visited a GNR gig his drumming was the weakest link imo. He may be an amazing drummer but his style doesn't fit for GNR if you ask me. I agree that over the years they fixed sone issues and it's not that annoying anymore
  9. I still have to disagree. Izzy's record sounds like his work in GNR because of the sceleton of the songs, the chord progressions, the well written songs. His parts aren't as highlighted as Slash's lead guitar but it's all there. It's the sound of GNR, a significant part of the sound, these are Izzy's contributions and when I'm comparing it to another record, then I have to compare it to his work, not to Slash's. I haven't listened to Pawnshop Guitars in a while but when I last did, neither the rhythm section sounded more like GNR to me than JuJu Hounds nor the lead guitar and the riffing sounded more like GNR than It's 5 O'clock Somewhere. 5 o' clock has the signature Slash sound, the riffing, the rawness, the leads. Who am I telling this...
  10. I understood very well and I disagree. Yu Yu Hounds and 5 o clock sound both definitely more like GNR than Pawnshop Guitars.
  11. Sorry dude, with all due respect and without discrediting Gilby, but you have no idea what you're talking about. Gilby did a good job but he wasn't responsible for the GNR sound at all. Comparing his work to Izzy's is also laughable in regards to the sound of GNR. I don't know what you have listened to but that's not what I've heard from those guys.
  12. Like you, I love every album he's released but my absolute favorites are Snakepit 1 and Snakepit 2, in this order. I will say, there's not a single album since it's 5 o'clock somewhere which sounded more like GNR. CD and Contraband included.
  13. You should try listening to Robin Finck and Buckethead, maybe that suits your taste a little bit more.
  14. We're on a music forum. Nobody here is an expert and knows for sure. Even less, when nobody's has ever talked to the victim about this case. We're drawing conclusions from the distance and you're acting like anybody has an idea what has happened. Everybody is talking outta his ass, including you, but from what we've read, written by herself, I don't believe her. Expert or not LOL
  15. Well, back in the day she chose to fuck him anyway. You don't fuck someone who just raped you, do you? Whatever happened, she obviously enjoyed it so movedafuckon.
  16. I'm convinced she tells the truth. She's just confusing Axl with John Bon Jovi
