Difficult, but went for Ten anyway. Even Flow, Once, Black, Porch, Jeremy... They're all great.

I'm fine with a setlist featuring the classic material. They should add some jams and solos. Make the shows longer, give Eddie some breaks.

I'd be fine with a 5 hour Pearl Jam show personally.

I'd love if Eddie waited about 3 hours to come on stage, make the fans really pumped and give them time to enjoy themselves and their friends. Then, a 5 hour show so people can all leave the venue straight to their jobs. A man can dream

I just want them to set a permanent setlist, and not fuck around with it. Going to a show and never knowing what you'll get is retarded.

The set list is fine. The problem is Eddie always loves to start the show so on time, never a minute later. Why always such rush?

With all this excitement about Duff, I feel kind of bad for the fans tonight and on Thursday.

I'm sure Axl could have foiund a decent replacement bass player for those shows besides Duff....

So by choosing Duff, Axl opts to deliberatly:

- Raise the whole GnR reunion discussion once again...

- Focus on 'old' music once again

- Make the new band members feel somewhat unconfortable

So WTF has Axl really to gain from this 'reunion' with Duff?

It´s just a few shows. Nothing knew if you think Izzy joined the band in 93 when Gilby had the accident. I guess this time Axl could´ve told Tommy to cancel the shows with The Replacements. But we don´t know what kind of contract Tommy has with both both bands

Could it be that Axl is testing the waters for a full Duff return to the band? It's been spoken in the past, I believe MSL mentioned something about that...

Marc Canter has said that no former member would return as a permanent again without the other originals. Besides Duff seems happy with Walking Papers.

It's not like GNR is a fulltime band at the moment, not like original Guns. The other members have side-projects: BBF has his solo career, Richard en Dizzy have Dead Daisies, Tommy has Replacements (obviously) and DJ Ashba has his SWAG. Mind you, I'm not saying Duff would like to return permanent, I don't know, but the situation now is a whole lot different than it used to be twenty years ago.

Think you're reading into it too much.

Duff knows all the old material they play and could prob easily learn the few CD tracks that they do. Seems like the perfect replacement while Tommy's gone. He doesn't have to learn much to get ready for the shows.

Plus, they're friends again so why not and duff must not of been busy.

And it's a nice treat for the fans.

Just to clarify, is Duff definitely playing Paraguay? A quick check of walking papers tour dates says they are supposed to be playing Seattle that day (source: http://www.songkick.com/artists/5875959-walking-papers).

First tour date on Walking Papers website is June 6th in Denmark.

Here's another conspiracy theory: Slash has taken the Vegas dvd hostage for a spot in the GNR gigs. Axl said no and to spite him even more, asked Duff to join for the tour instead

I'm stoked something exciting is happening again and look forward to seeing clips of the show and hearing how it went. Finally hearing Duff again in the SO down, SO down in WTTJ (always miss that!) and seeing the interaction between those two. (Damn, it's difficult not to get my hopes up.)

Oh My God and Silkworms aren't on his Soundcloud page anymore.

What's interesting is how long it took to take down his first account.

For those that don't know, it had the three minute video chunk with all the 2013 leaks in it, as well as Going Down in full. Also had clips of OMG and Silkworms taken from that three minute chunk. The account also had DJ Ashba's version of Better in full as well as the acoustic version.

I've been going back to Mr. Street of Dreams for what seems like a month or longer now, and those videos had been uploaded a little before I started going to the account. I swear I was just there yesterday and now that account is gone!

Mr. Street of Dreams 2, and Mr. Street of Dreams 3 are still active; they have many of the leaks from Chinese Democracy on them as well as instrumentals.

I don't think it's such a big deal. It seems like some people are looking for things to complain about. (While there's really no need to ) It's Axl. It didn't seem like bullying to me and I read in the other thread it was because of technical problems (whatever) and they did Estranged again afterwards, singing 3, 4, instead of 1, 2. I find that kind of funny
