I have seen Rob Zombie at The Electric Factory in Phillyduring The Hellbilly Deluxe 2 tour, and Alice Cooper at The York Fair during The Theater of Death tour. I hope yet to see GnR, and Ozzy Osbourne should they tour near me. Who have you seen, what tour and what place? discuss

Pete Yorn - In Los Angeles, don't remember the exact location, 2009. Was kinda dragged to this one.

The Joe Perry Project - The Fillmore, NY 2009. This was the gig Steven Tyler came onstage and surprised everyone. I was second row :D

^ Great idea, should have totally listed the best.

1. Guns N Roses, Glasgow SECC, 2006: Best night of my life, pure bliss.

2. In Flames, Glasgow Barrowlands, 2008: Probably the most intense show I've been to, the song choices were unreal.

3. Guns N Roses, Dublin RDS Stadium, 2006: First time I saw Guns, perfect summers day performance was great, just nowhere near as strong as in Glasgow.

4. Runrig, Glasgow Barrowlands 2005/2009: Same band, same venue, two totally different gigs, but I find it really hard to pick which was better, setlist was better in '05, but the audience and performance in '09 were near godlike when put together.

5. Anberlin, Glasgow King Tut's Wah Wah Hut, 2008: Fantastically intimate gig, amazing setlist and emotionally charged performance.

6. Pendulum, Donington Park, 2008: I'd never listened to Pendulum before seeing them play and they just blew me away, it was like the biggest party I've ever attended, I ended up having crazy ass dance offs with the randomers around me, so much good spirit and a hell of a lot of fun.

7. James, Glasgow SECC, 2001: First proper gig I'd ever gone to through my own choosing (I was 11), seeing basically my first favourite band on what was supposed to be their final tour, emotions ran high. Sit Down at that show was one of the most bittersweet things I've ever seen at a gig.

8. Coheed & Cambria, Glasgow Barrowlands, 2008: First time seeing them, was hugely impressed by their set, the atmosphere was electric.

9. Iron Maiden, Donington Park, 2007: "It's the East Midlands Choir!" exclaimed Bruce Dickinson as 80 000 people sung along to every word, and every note of Fear of the Dark, amazing set, performance and location.

10. Wolfstone, Edinburgh Corn Exchange, 2004: It was loud, it was raucous, it was fast as fuck and yet at the same time strangely melodic, one of the most exciting live acts ever.
