Georgy Zhukov
They cut her scenes because the screeners did not like her performance.
James Bond
The whole hotel scene between her and Bond makes me cringe. It's so badly acted on both parts. The whole "too close for comfort" exchange makes me wish I was watching Die Another Day instead.
Georgy Zhukov
The whole time I kept wondering what Bond saw in this girl.
Facekicker
I never got the appeal of Teri Hatcher. She always struck me as being up her own arse.
Georgy Zhukov
She's a terrible actress. She tries too hard to be sexy. You can only blame so much on the writers. Good actors would know what to say better than what was given to them.
Crazyman
And to think, they were going to cast Monica Bellucci in that part...
James Bond
Yeah, Hatcher just can't act. It was impossible to buy the notion that her and Bond had such a history. Monica Bellucci? Very interesting.
Georgy Zhukov
I don't know if they were going to cast her, but Brosnan very much wanted her. She should have been made a Bond girl. Easily could have done The World is Not Enough. Just given an Italian name, not some stupid name just so they can make that joke at the end of the movie.Or Maria Grazia Cucinotta. Either would have been fine. But they wanted a well known American actress and sadly not many of those are either attractive or talented. But there has been American Bond girls such as Bach, Lowell and Talisa Soto (Puerto Rican is technically American) who have done well. They knew how to be sexy without being corny. I'd be happy if they stick with French, Italian or Spanish women. Even Middle Eastern women have it down.I'd like to see Freita Pinto as the next Bond girl. About time they get an Indian woman.
dalsh327
Angelina Jolie turned down Casino Royale, because she wanted to be James Bond... she should do it just because she'd get a ridiculous amount of money for it. There's a whole list of femme fatales that would be good - Rebecca Romijn must've been on the radar, and Charlize Theron. They still could. Sharon Stone up to a decade ago. Helena Bonham Carter as a new M.

Powerage5
It appears NSNA is getting a new Blu Ray release next Monday. To buy, or not to buy?http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00AVWIQZS/ref=s9_newr_gw_d41_g74_ir01?pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_s=center-6&pf_rd_r=041CDVA3JKQJ2ZRVH0GJ&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=358549927&pf_rd_i=468294

For whatever reason (and Brosnan was pissed about this too) they went with Hatcher.I have a feeling it tied into "Lois and Clark"'s popularity (for the American audience) and an MGM executive influencing the decision. Sela Ward was "too old". I could think of all sorts of people from the TV world that they would've auditioned that most of us would be scratching our heads over. They prob. look at JJ Abrams movies now for future Bond characters.I'm all for Matthew Fox as future Bond villain... he could be another renegade spy and played the psycho card really well in Alex Cross. Facekicker
I think Christoph Waltz could make a great Bond villain.

Georgy Zhukov
It's shit but the price isn't bad compard to what I paid for on DVD.
James Bond
At $10 it might be wise to buy a few copies, wait for it to go out of print again, and then sell them for the crazy eBay prices they tend to fetch.
DieselDaisy
I have never thought she was that bad, Hatcher; it is just her character is reduced to a cameo.
James Bond
Brosnan seemed to enjoy biting her shoulders at least.
