Sugar- Water (stir thoroughly to avoid the sugary residue at the bottom of the cup)- Tea- Milk for me. Adding the milk before the sugar means you're less likely to get all the sugar to dissolve.

Tea first then pour the boiling water over the bag you fucking barbarian! <_<

This Aussie gains more respect from me every day. I add the tea bag shortly after the hot water, it makes next to no difference to the taste and means that I can make sure all the sugar has dissolved without the distraction of the teabag. I'm very particular about not having half-dissolved sugar at the bottom of the cup.

You know whats great? French fries and ice cream!

I hate coffee and don't care for tea other than Iced Tea.

Yeah, I remember when I was 12.

I'm 21. Still hate it.

Grow up love.

What? Hating coffee and tea makes me immature? :scared:

Um yeah brah.

Well I bet my dad can beat up your dad

Boil tea leaves and water in pan, pour tea into teapot (strain leaves if teapot has no strainer), pour into cup with saucer, add a spoon of sugar (from a sugar bowl), add milk (from a small milk pot thing), stir a couple times softly, sip like a poonce.

My dad drinks his black coffee by chewing on coffee grounds and sipping on boiling water.

Your dad sounds like a giant person.

Can a proper british person explained to this uncultured American how one properly prepares tea so I can smugly do it in front of my room mate?

Tea bag in cup, pour over boiling water, brew to taste, remove bag, add sugar and stir, add milk.
