doakes
Frusciante is the first person that popped into my head. I wish those guys would just put out a full album together-- but my guess is that Axl's far too ostentatious for John's taste. username
I'd really love for Axl to do that! Ehmmm... Joe Bonamassa (make it a long slow blues song!) Chris & Rich Robinson Neil Young Izzy Stradin Brian May Tom Morello Angus & Malcolm Young (GnR and AC/DC works!) Duff McKagan James Hetfield (this could either go very right or very wrong) Keith Richards Beth Hart (only female vocalists I could see it work with) David Bowie (something out there and epic and long) I tried to make it a fair mix between vocalists and guitarists, but it's hard for a vocalist to match the energy of Axl when he's on. I could see Izzy and/or Duff on there, but not on the same song. That's make it too Guns n' Roses. And I don't want it to be just that. I'm not sure about putting him up with Bruce Springsteen or Steven Tyler or something. Axl and Tyler might be a cheesefest and with Bruce... I'm not sure the styles match.
