Well, you would still put your money on a Kiwi victory (England tend to have these tragic batting collapses when one wicket goes) but England have all their wickets in hand and records are there to be broken. Weather could also hand out a draw.

It is a crying shame this was a two test 'series' - granted, it is an Ashes year.

Sounds like it's been a good days test cricket again.

I'd love an Ashes series that matches this one for drama and switching of who has control of the game.

Yes but 2013-14's whitewash aside, the three series beginning 2009 - 2009, 2010-11, 2013 - have been fairly competitive and have not failed to ignite (2013's 3-0 flattered England) and let's not forget the glorious summer of 2005 which went down to the final day and individual moments like balls dropped. But I do see your point. There is a loose parity between New Zealand and England which has led to some exciting test cricket.
