Dizzy Reed: 'A Lot of New Stuff Is Ready to Come Out'

Recommended Posts

""When someone new joins the band, I tell them, 'Don't get comfortable,'" he says. "If you think we're not gonna do a song, we will do it. If you think we're not gonna play for three hours, because we just played for two and a half, we could play for three."

It's quite sad, really. Do you think he's aware that there are artists like prince and Springsteen who play hundreds of different songs each tour?

Reed says that GN'R's three-hour concerts are often unpredictable as the group doesn't work with a traditional set list, instead learning the songs they play eeach night through a clandestine line of communication.

Jesus fucking Christ. Doesn't work with a traditional setlist?!!!! What the actual fuck?!!!

And why does this forum always have to copy/paste the background colour of the source instead of just the text content?

We heard from BBF, the guitar maestro, in the band since 2006, that he doesn't even know the status of Atlas Shrugged which he played a solo on, he barely even heard any fucking CD songs he was playing solos for cause everyone was fearful they'd leak or Axl would go apeshit, is it any surprise the loyal keyboard and tambourine man knows nothing?

It just bemuses the shit out of me that anything revolving around jamming together or creating music or working on existing music equates to a colossal white elephant in the GNR room, what on earth does Axl do if he doesn't create things with his band?

Dizzy is an idiot.

Dizzy I think Axls left shoe is shiny enough, you can spit and polish the right one now.

Starting to accept that there may not ve another Guns album while Axl is alive. If they couldn't even get a music video that was cobbled-together tour footage out to the masses, along with all the normal stuff that normal bands do, then would there be any hope this time around?

Alternatively, would the pressure actually be completely off because there's no hype around the concept if a new Guns album outside of the forums?
