Tom-Ass
Definately never saw that one. I've never heard the song or of the band before either. Nice find..
Johnny Drama
Not a fan of The Angels really. I mean yelling "NO WAY GET FUCKED FUCK OFF!" has its virtues but otherwise meh.
ludurigan
Thanks so much for pointing to this video.I had never seen it!I can't see much, it's all a big fucking blur! But I can see clearly that Axl is great on it!Oh boy he seemed to like being onstage more than anyone back then...hey, and there is one more videoIt's too bad that Axl is doing more "dancing" than "singing" on this one: so fucking great to watch this, thanks so much! Gordon Comstock
Cool video. Hadn't seen it before.Definately never saw that one. I've never heard the song or of the band before either. Nice find..They played the song again this year in Vegas a couple days after Doc Neeson (Angels singer) died, as a tribute. Chris 55
really sucks that they used to record things with potatoes back in the 80s....At least they didn't slap a "HD!" addendum to the video title.
2x4
How have I never seen this? My favourite Australian band with my favourite band, playing my favourite Angels tune. Doc Neeson was one of the greatest frontmen of all time, in my eyes.
Axl4Prez2004
When I read the post I thought for sure there was some rare occurrence Axl had some members of the California Angels up on stage...damn. That would have been sweet.

ludurigan
Guns n' Roses minus Axl performed "Marseilles" in 1988.I used to have a tape of it recorded from a vinil bootlegFROM GNR ON TOUR = http://gnrontour.com/setlistalm88.htm06.09.88 - Irvine Meadows, Irvine, CAopening for: Iron Maidenset: Marseilles, It's So Easyaudio/video recording?: audionotes: GN'R, minus Axl and with Duff on vocals, play these 2 songs to make it up to the fans for cancelling out on the rest of the tour with Iron Maiden. 'Marseilles' was originally done by Angel City. Most people mistaken 'Marseilles' for the Kiss song 'Nothin To Lose.' During one of the Irvine shows, Slash, Steven & LA Guns join Maiden on stage to sing on the chorus of "Heaven Can Wait."newspaper adposter
