Sometimes celebrities are just drunk assholes and the pap is in the wrong place, wrong time. Other times they're yelling shit at them to set them off, and it's because they want a "payday". Most celebrities have some self-defense training just in case security isn't there. Why do you think Axl was cool with that kid up on stage? He could have taken him down, but no, Fernando comes out and shoves the kid right into Ron's back when he was still fucked up. I thought Brazilians knew jiu-jitsu and shit *L* Paparazzi seems to be fine with Axl the few times he's had to deal with them. If you slow the video down you can see Beta swinging her handbag at someone, at the beginning Axl is saying "if he touches her one more time". I love the guy at the very end who turns to the camera and says 'shit'.I think the guy on stage was ok as Axl doesn't seem to be in a bad mood any more like he used to & just laughed as he sang & pushed him away. And if you're a sensitive person or easily annoyed, you're bound to lash out sooner or later. Sometimes the celebrity is just being a douchebag but they're pretty awful, but they're begging to be assaulted. They also do stupid shit like fall on the ground so it looks like they were being beaten up. It's just that they become a danger when they're following the celebrity by car/van/SUV and they're barrel assing down the road and blowing stop lights that they can kill someone. There's vinyl collectors who will bring some rare things out to get signed, and they might bring someone with them so they have a copy for themselves and one to sell? That's fine because they're music fans. But it's the pickguard posse that want to slap a cheap piece of plastic on a crap guitar and sell it for thousands of dollars that are vampires, or the people who get the names wrong. There would be usually a couple of fans most night but you did not see hordes of fans, seen in that clip. Chapman was a lone fan (there was also a photographer present) who got Double Fantasy signed, then turned up later at night when John and Yoko returned, and shot him. Totally different scenario.
