What unreleased demo would you like to hear the reunited band finish?

Van Halen's "A Different Kind of Truth" album in 2012 was made up in part of songs that were old demos from the 1970's that they decided to finally finish.

What demo would you like to see GNR finish now that they're back together?

Every Van Halen album from the Roth era was made up of old demos from the club days. GNR are not Van Halen..they can write new material.

I voted for Sentimental Movie, it's one of my favourite GNR tracks. But really, it's perfect already. Raw and sloppy. I can't imagine it polished up, I certainly wouldn't want it over produced.

Am I just romantizing or are a lot of these songs much better than the likes of Anything Goes, Reckless Life and some of the weakest songs that ended up on UYI? 

Sometimes I wonder what GNR's legacy would have been like if they did not release both UYI's at once. I mean they are basically three full albums but are regarded as one, making most people think GNR only ever released two albums. Same thing with Lies, I mean they could have done more with it cosidering all this unreleased material. 

I think my vote goes to Just another Sunday or bring it back home. 

 

edit: very incoherent post (drunk) but what I was trying to say was so much material but so ineffectively managed, they are better than the two album releases they get credit for
