I'm sure others on the Nightrain forum or FB groups could confirm it too, there were other 'die-hards' around but I don't know if they use this site much. Cool. Hopefully it gets played. One of the better songs on that album

Yea, November Rain was noticeably better than it was in Vancouver. I actually mentioned the "lovers always come and lovers always go" part being particularly bad in the Vancouver thread and he sounds great on that here! (1:20) also, Nightrain was great. 1:30-1:50 especially: I kinda wonder if the weather is good for his voice, it was really hot and smoky (wildfires in the state). He sounded especially great in Texas last year and it's fuckin hot there too

I didn't say the song was amazing, I said it was better than the previous show. This one was better all-around, not just Axl. And the part I mentioned actually sounds good, here's how he sang it in Vancouver for comparison:

So you're coming out ahead.

Well the lyrics about "I won't be told anymore, that I've been bought down in this storm,And left so far out from the shore, but I can't find by way back, my way back anymore." with rain and etc checked...I can see why it would work.... I actually really loved Maddy live when I got to hear it, especially with the 2 minute intro they added latterly to it... It would be really awesome to hear it back and Slash's take on that solo... He did say they would add more and Chinese tracks as they went on....

Popular Post Ubukitty
The venue: Amazing. I would love to see another show there. It's beautiful and the way it is set up you can see the mountains and the Columbia River through the stage. The people were very inviting, great chill vibe. There is a campground on the premises in case you want to camp out and it's walking distance to the stage. You will walk a lot of hills going back and forth from the merch, food and drink stands. The show: In my opinion it was worth every penny to purchase the Welcome To The Jungle VIP package and I would most definitely do it again. We were treated very well by the staff, the food was great, all you can drink, stage tour, pics and meeting some of the crew. Of course I would've loved to meet the band but that didn't happen. I did meet someone who has worked for Axl for 29 years and I did ask some questions. There will be new music, they are putting it together now, and I quote (The band members are all clean, happy, getting along great and plan to be the next Rolling Stones) in terms of longevity. I did not ask about AC/DC. Axl's voice sounded great. He is still able to send chills down a body with those long raspy screams. I could see and feel the closeness of the members. Axl would jokingly sneak up behind Duff when he's at the edge of the stage and grab him, which scared the hell out of Duff but it was funny. I could tell Axl was telling jokes because they would listen intensely and then all smile and laugh. Hearing the Seeker was awesome, I even loved the covers, especially Glenn Campbells, I think that one fits Axl's style. It was such a fun show. Oh I was standing one person away from Tako, first time seeing her. I did meet a lot of cool people, some from LA and exchanged numbers to meet up and stay in touch. I will be posting pics tomorrow as I just arrived home from vacation. I look forward to seeing the band at the Forum and am excited for the future. Not So Good: For me only one thing can bring me down when seeing a concert and that's being grabbed by a man/or woman I don't know and didn't give permission to touch me. Apparently the drummer/or bassist from the Cure is very hands on, a little too much. So much that I had to alert security and he was warned to stop touching me. Someone in his entourage told security, you don't need to worry, he's from the Cure and he's gay. Um I don't think that matters and apparently neither did security because after about the third time grabbing me, he was thrown out. After that all was well and back to focusing on the band. The good always outweighs the bad. Forever love to gnfnr. 2 2
