Yeah I could never really get into them. I listened to their hits from back in the day and always have lumped them in with Poison or Warrant musically than Guns N' Roses.

Well, "nobody" is probably overstating it a bit. Does anyone have the actual numbers on sales for those two albums?
DieselDaisy
I don't remember them being without adoration, LA Guns. Certainly they weren't as big as Guns N' Roses but they were cracking the top fifty, both albums and singles, during they heyday. They were fairly big thinking about it.

Thing is, most of the people here seems to be the kind of person that only gets into Guns N Roses, Aerosmith and the Stones and everything that isnt those bands are automatically utter shit bands playing pizza houses. 20 hours ago, trqster said: Let's get something straight here - fact is that Guns are a living legend kind of band (like the Stones) already - actually they do not need to put out anymore new music ever and would always be able to tour indefinitely the world with their current catalogue. They've earned it - because they're that good. Respect for that. This doesn't mean that we're not gonna have a new album and music coming - but that music will only be relevant to a very small percentage of Gn'R causal fans out there. Everyone else will always want to hear just the 'greatest hits'. Guns N Roses is living as a legend? That would be reason enough to release something to see if they're really on pair with bands on that category. Guns N Roses discography is so tiny that we dont really have the standards to call them legendary. The Stones are legendary, ACDC is legendary, Aerosmith is legendary. Guns N Roses and their three albuns (4 if we count the Illusions as two)? No, thanks. We didnt have enough to know if they are real legends or just got lucky. Well the fact that Gn'R have only put out 3-4 records and are able to be selling out stadiums on tour all over the world makes them even more legendary in my book! Just saying... Anyway most people my generation (old farts) don't really seem to care about any new Gn'R stuff, certainly not CD... Still they're the first to buy tickets to whatever Gn'R tour hits town... Maybe it's the young people - new fans that are actually into hearing a new Gn'R record....could be. Free Bird
Wow... this LA Guns music is really awful. That singer is 10x more generic than Myles
Nintari
As much as I love Appetite (it truly is a masterpiece), it really gets annoying to watch the Illusion records get so little respect. It's like people forget that the Illusion tour was their biggest and their popularity at it's highest thanks to those two little albums.
bigpoop
He's not wrong. Three years plus since the three-union and not one note of new music. They're still like 'yeah we're thinking about looking into maybe doing it'. It's ridiculous.
