New GN’R documentary on Reelz - Sunday, June 18

Recommended Posts

"Guns N' Roses: America's Most Dangerous Band" explores the rise of one of the most notorious rock bands of the 1980s. With sales of over a hundred million records and fans all over the globe, Guns n’ Roses are one of the biggest acts in music history. Multiple American Music Awards, acclaimed as World’s Best Group by the World Music Awards and inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame… Guns n’ Roses have done it all. But the stats don’t begin to tell the whole story. The band's infamous bad behavior, including drug use, public feuds, and on-stage meltdowns earn them a wild reputation. And their dangerous appetites threaten their own destruction.

It may be the same old stuff. https://reelz.com has preview clip but it doesn’t seem to work 😕

The funniest part about the reelz ones is they have actors dress up as the band and film dialogue-less re-enactments.

Thanks for the warning, that is all I needed to know about this doc lol

That was the worst GN'R documentary ever. Just Eddie Trunk, a couple of other journos and Stump from the St. Louis riot saying the same old shit (and not even accurately). It didn't even have any re-enactments except a couple of scenes.

I thought the snake handling scenes were especially hilarious when they were talking about Axl's Pentecostal background as a child. I wonder if he and Slash ever swapped snake handling stories. 😄
