Well if Axl can spill his guts to this fool it just shows how little respect he has for the fans. Why couldn't he tell us this earlier or in a statement.

I believe this was his way of doing that.

Do you think it was a coincidence that we all had advance warning that he'd be appearing on the show? It was totally different from the way the IRS track was leaked on the show, where few diehard fans heard the song played. This time, we all knew and we all tuned in.

Yeah, I think at least the call was WAY set up. I'm still not sure about Axl coming down being set up beforehand.

It was fun and all, and I did enjoy hearing Axl. But when he said UYI was "Slash trying to take over", I remembered why I'm on the other team.

He didn't say it was just Slash...he pretty much said it was his, Slashs' and Izzys' solo records combined.

I quoted him accurately, you are referring to a separate comment.

Yeah he said it, no doubt - and nobody knows except them what happened, so....

UK SUBS.

It's weak for him to accuse Slash of trying to do something he did indeed do himself.

Shit flies in both directions! and nobody else has 'inside' information...

Anyway, get away from my positive space  , I know it will implode at some point, but at the minute its all cool with Axl - I am not getting into old topics and discussions - ok, its from a new interview but it just goes down the same one wat system! Don't worry though, A_D will be along soon ;)

UK SUBS.

And I will be far away in Sleepy Land.

Take a hard look at P4A's sig.

this may have already been discussed, but what is everyones favourite bits from the interview.

Mine are:

When Sebastian tells how Axl got him out of LA cos he was partying to much and how he will always appreciate what Axl did for him and how Axl tells how if he spends to much time in new york he has to leave.

and says "We have to get outta here, we're gonna die"

When Axl says about the It's so Easy video and he was with Earl when buying bondage gear and the people at the shop thought that Axl and Earl were partners-lmao

When Axl tells about Elton John meeting him and Elton being a gay man

and I have more, so I'll come back and post some later. :)

Axl said in 1999 he had 90+ song's now in 2006 he has only two albums worth?

All the parts should be done not just the majority of vocals it should be finished already

the cool thing about the interview axl talking to izzy

I also didnt know that baz and axl had been such good friends

Do you think Axl and Sebastian went out after the radio interveiw?

I think they did, that would of been so cool especially since they hadn't seen each other for 10 years.

Imagine going out with them, that would be wild. rock4

Eddie Trunk commented on the night in his blog:

Wow, not even sure where to begin. It has been an amazing week that ended with one of the most incredibly special nights of radio in my 23 year career. I always preach that I do a different type of radio show and you never know what will happen, and last night backes that up BIG TIME! It is all over the web and news that Axl Rose picked my show to break a silence of over a decade. Sure Axl has done some very small interviews in the past, but this was a 2 1/2 hour hang with me, Sebastian Bach, Scott Ian and Chris Jerricho. When he walked into the studio to join us everyone was almost speachless for a second. There is WAY to much to talk about and cover. From how and why it happened, to what happened off the air, to what happened after the radio show ended and we hit the town until 6AM. Axl looked great and was totally cool. His only request was no photos, which is why none exist online. So much to tell you guys and I will post in much more detail very soon. In all honesty I am just completely wiped out and need some time to chill on all this. I also spent all day Friday with Ace Frehley, Peter Criss and Scott Travis of Judas Priest. I'll also tell you about that soon. Also, I know there is audio all over the web, most of it incomplete. I have every second of this show and it will be posted eventually in it's true form on this site. PLEASE BE AWARE ANY NON AUTHORIZED BROADCAST OF ANY PART OF THIS SHOW IS NOT PROHIBITED! IF YOU ARE A RADIO STATION INTERESTED IN THIS AUDIO PLEASE CONTACT ME THROUGH THIS SITE! THIS IS EXCLUSIVE COPYWRITTEN MATERIAL THAT IS THE PROPERTY OF EDDIE TRUNK AND KGB RADIO NETWORKS!

I was the first to play the new music years ago, and now the first to have an in depth interview with the legend himself! Still can't get your local station to broadcast my show? LET THEM KNOW ABOUT IT! You would have heard this live!!

It was also great to clear the air and any tension with Axl between me and Mike Piazza over the leak. Mike actually called in and Axl was cool. I can not say THANK YOU enough to Sebastian Bach for making this all possible! Bas and I spent a couple days together doing radio and TV in support of the new Supergroup show and told me he would get this to happen and he did. Simply put this would never have happened with out Bas, I owe you big time bro! Much more to come about this historic night as soon as I get some sleep and recover. Axl, thank you for this incredible exclusive and for being so cool and hanging. Who knows, maybe we will do it again soon......much more coming very soon to this site exclusively!

I was rather suprised the lawsuits didn't come up either.

You would think a question about Slash coming over to his house would be brought up...unless eddie didn't know about that...

Also, the greatest hits lawsuits mighta made an appearance but it appears that was way too serious for something like this.

Haha, Sabastian sounds like a little kid...
