Easy and  Brownstone are the best songs for Axl to begin the show, he can warm up for the toughest songs. This show ( the band, the stage setup, the playlist ) is a well-oiled machine and you don't want many new moving parts in it...

Actually, I do. Otherwise the machine is damn boring.

It's so non-commital that I wouldn't be reading too much into it.

Time passes and it becomes 'New song in June' but he literally says 'I imagine' and 'around the time'. They're not definites by any means. It stands to reason that we'll see something at some point this month but it wouldn't be a surprise if they just didn't, either. Think the best policy is enjoy the shows and be pleasantly surprised.

Well as a GNR fan, if you want to stay sane, you gotta prepare for the worst and kinda be able to imagine the... good. Something like that.

If no new song has been rehearsed, there is no "new song in june" as the top hat guy said

Rehearsal is sorta private. Soundcheck is what they do before shows in situ and fans sometimes record. They don't have to play every song.

If Axl pulls Reckless Life and sounds good, I'll be fucking impressed. Back in Black? Jeez, no way. That would mean his 2016 voice is kinda back, no?

    "sounds better when you're there"

"people sat behind their keyboards are all haters"

"Axl looked like he was having loads of fun"

"unrealistic to expect them to change setlist"

    etc etc.

    People were having fun.

Axl was looking less bloated, cracking jokes.

They played NR before KOHD this time!

    Complaints, complaints, complaints.

  5. Deathloop. Great game, but certain elements pissed me off, and as I was approaching the end, there is a mission where stuff blows up if you’re not careful, and since you can’t save in this game, I finally gave up. Not a bad game at all, though.

Days Gone. Again, nice game, but a bit cumbersome and I guess I got bored later. 15 years ago I woulda finished it with glee.

Doom: Eternal. Anything after Doom 3 is just too easy pleasy. The closed spaces were better, and jump-scary. This feels like playing Unreal Tournament or the likes online. Make Doom 6 Doom 3 again!

C'mon people you can't vote out the tour we've waited to happen for decades!! Especially the first 2 years of the tour were amazing!! Never forget the excitement that we all had, staying up laaaate for those in Europe to catch a periscope stream for their shows in Vegas 016!! Hell many of us were not even there during their early days! But the NITL your is something we can actually relate to.

But how could you vote anything from the golden era instead? It's a hardball.

Sorry I couldn't put text in there for some reason. It wasn't from the book but a post,  I'd love to know more info on that (quote was from page 15)

I have a real hard time believing a legend like Slash would jive with someone like Fortis.

Mate, your avatar is quite disturbing.

  8. Anything concerning voting on GNR stuff must end up for something from the "Live Era" to win. Axl’s solo was more or less nice, but it wasn’t real GNR; NITL was more or less nice, but they’re not 30 anymore, the times have moved on, and how can you even compare it. So it’s either Appetite or Illusions, obviously. That will be the ultimate, hard battle.
