  1. I normally buy my outfit from Robin & Finck followed by an Ice Cream from Baskin & Robins on a hot sunny day.
  2. Any opinion against yours is just dumb. I get it. You are the best of the best man. Have fun!
  3. Axl kept introducing the song as "The Blues" from 2001 up until 2007. So it's kind of hardwired in our minds. I get your point though, but hey, this is a fan forum, so we call it The Blues and everyone gets it. There you go ^ here's a die hard CD fan preferring The Blues.
  4. Classic sound? Yes I can't deny. Progress though, I can't judge cause there hasn't been any new song made from scratch by these two.
  5. Honestly I was a big UYI era fan before CD. And I loved both lyrics and music on CD. You can't joke with TWAT, SOD, Prostitute, Better or even the title track. So, lyrics matter of course. I don't have problem with your opinions cause it's yours but I do have a big issue with your generalizations.
  6. Alright, enjoy Perhaps, HS and Silkworms and any future CD tracks folks. Welcome to the Chinese Democracy world. Arms wide open. Just don't overdose listening cause Death Cube K might appear in your nightmares lol
  7. Tommy said his opinion, you said your opinion and I said mine. I respect yours too. So we will all move on.
  8. Had so much fun reading this thread. AFD rednecks all around. Haha chill people. It's just music. Tommy Stinson is a decent and professional bass player. His long history in the industry and the quality projects he was involved with is way larger than Slash and Duff and Adler and your other idols. Again I'm not saying Slash or Duff aren't good. It's just that this is not a boxing ring. It's music. So keep it down when talking about Tommy Stinson. hehe.
  9. By the way, weren't most of you AFD fans making fun of Chinese Democracy tracks? How come you're all hyped up about CD tracks now? LOL
  10. Yeah it would be as awkward as selling a AFD boxset for a thousand dollars or sell a triple zero VIP after show meet and greet ticket to see Tom Mayhue.
  11. Yes that's true. 'Cause he got cancelled in Canadians public domain. So sad... So he's having this one called Roqe focusing on Persians in diaspora.
  12. Acquitted of all charges by the court of law and is a free man. So he's definitely fine to do any kind of shows.
  13. Decent guitarist with an authentic style.
  14. I said it before and I'll say it again. Lex Fridman should interview Axl.
  15. Axl on Joe Rogan Podcast would be awesome. Though it won't happen for sure.
  16. I think the opposite. There's rarely a rock band as famous as GNR having such a big number of leaks. Almost every song since 2001 has been leaked prior to its official release.
  17. Well said. Many people often resort to mockery or trolling when someone opposes or criticizes the reunion in any shape or form. I believe this reaction stems from their deep emotional and financial investment in this. You can spot this under threads about the gigs where many posters are attendees. They might be hesitant to face the possibility that the reunion might not live up to their expectations. Now, let's have a respectful discussion about it folks. If you feel the pain then take painkillers.
