  1. I doubt it, because although GN'R is its own label, Universal is still the distributor. Yes. Plus, the delay in the release of Perhaps didn't involve people having paid money and expecting delivery.
  2. I remember that it appeared to be sold out at some point in the US GN'R merch store and it became available again after a couple of days (without a change in the shipping date). My guess is that maybe part of the stock was "relocated" from UMG stores around the world, so that there would be availability on the main GN'R merch stores, and so now UMG stores in other countries are out of stock.
  3. Yes, I think as long as the people who have already pre-ordered don't get an email about a delay, Oct. 27 still stands. I had done some test purchases from various stores and I noticed that shipping from Italy was more expensive for me than from the US or the UK, although it should be the other way around considering that Italy is the closest to Greece. As I understand it, orders made on Universal online stores are delivered from the US (which explains the additional cost). Probably also GN'R merch stores have priority over the Universal stores regarding availability. Not that site. The Universal Italy store site: https://shop.universalmusic.it/products/guns-n-roses-perhaps-vinile-7-45-giri Universal Italy is apparently the source for what the news site has reported.
  4. For the time being, the most plausible explanation is that the new placeholder dates in some European stores are because they're out of stock, so it concerns only those who are ordering now from these stores and not those who have already pre-ordered it.
  5. Oh, you meant the Yahoo interview? I was confused, because you quoted my post with the song.
  6. Universal France vinyl store has changed the date to Dec. 31: https://vinylcollector.store/collections/rock-metal/products/guns-n-roses-perhaps-vinyle-45t-exclusifguns-n-roses-perhaps-vinyle-45t-exclusif
  7. It sounded nothing like Evader's version to me (but of course it could be parts of The General anyway).

  11. It's not the same price for all artists, though, so I guess it depends on the artist, too. E.g.: https://intro.live/desktop-artist-main-profile/alex-skolnick https://intro.live/desktop-artist-main-profile/jennifer-batten The platform itself uses the term "meet and greet":

  15. Another quote from the interview with Classic Rock Germany (auto-translated): You have 60 songs already recorded... Yes, and since we've been on tour with Guns N' Roses, I've already added another 15 ideas. Before I even go on tour with LIGHTHOUSE, I'll probably release another solo record. There's so much material out there and my management agrees that we need to get it out. What should we wait for? For me to be 70? * I wish Axl thought along the same lines...
  16. I guess not many people are queuing for this, probably because it's too expensive and he's doing only the 5-minute option, since there are still meet and greet slots available. Other artists on the same platform charge $100 for 15 minutes and less for the 5-minute option.

  18. It's in the German interview https://www.a-4-d.com/t8070-2023-11-dd-classic-rock-germany-a-few-chords-and-the-truth-duff From auto-translation: How does it actually feel to be praised by Bob Dylan? (laughs) That's something, right? I remember it was a Tuesday evening. Suddenly I was constantly receiving messages from friends all over the world. Even Axl reached out to me and said, "Dude, have you seen that?" For the music I write, that's probably the greatest honor you can receive. I don't know him personally, the man is Bob Dylan after all. I don't even know what to say about that.

  20. Duff's interviews and to an extent Slash's interviews, too are like the GN'R setlists. They do many promo interviews, but only we read most or all of them, so they're boring to us because they say more or less the same things. But to interviewers and potentially casual readers who hear it for the first time, Duff's pancreas story is interesting.
  21. I agree. If we're talking about the rehashed CD era songs, I prefer the singles approach as well, but provided that they are released in a more timely fashion, e.g. a single every two or three months, and not every couple of years, lol. Waiting two years for one song is too much.
