  1. That's just meeting people on the street, that's not an organized meet and greet.
  2. Happy to hear that there will be another SMKC album and also a tour for the other solo album. Hope he keeps Todd, Fitz, and Frank for that tour. Yes that's it exactly, they don't want the interview sidetracked with GnR questions when they're wanting to talk about SMKC or whatever.
  3. Yes, only part that he rerecorded is his vocal. All the instruments are the same as the 90s recording.
  4. Nah they wouldn't have been a good fit for anything more than a guest appearance.
  5. That's how I feel too. What's laughable though is Duff saying that "nobody leaves." That's just not true; at the show I went to this year a lot of people left after SCOM.
  6. Yeah he put a lot of thought into the recording process but I don't think he cared about the details of the mix. There's a pretty big contrast between the records that Elvis mixed for him and this one.
  7. He definitely doesn't, otherwise he wouldn't have been ok with SMKC 4 being released in its final form. That's a pretty amateur sounding mix too. I'm blaming Caram, I've always said that he doesn't really know what he's doing. Absurd and HS aren't bad but Perhaps and General are pretty bad mixes imo.

  9. I'm looking forward more to Slash's guest singers album and SMKC 5 (whenever that happens).
  10. Cowritten by Myles and Michael Baskette (who also produced it) too. The production is miles ahead of The General and Perhaps. @IzzysMissy Did you talk to your co-workers about the song? What do they think? Can I send you my song?
  11. Hey everyone, my band just released a new song a few weeks ago. Hope you all enjoy!
  12. I listened to it a few times, yeah as a song it's not all that great. Certainly not as good as it was hyped up to be. It would fit better in the context of an album. Personally I think Absurd and HS are way better (even Perhaps is kind of boring to me).
  13. So after the 2005 VR show they didn't play together again until Kings of Chaos?
  14. No I can totally understand why Matt felt the way he did. Duff was one of his closest friends (practically brothers; Duff was one of Matt's groomsmen) and they had been through a lot together and he had hoped for some loyalty, instead he got left behind while Slash and Duff got to be in the spotlight again and make lots of money. I think deep down Slash and Duff wanted Matt there but ultimately didn't really have a choice, and that's probably one reason that Duff was evading him because he knew Matt was really hurt by all that. The bit about Matt telling Duff to tell Axl that he wants him on drums, I can totally picture him saying that. He's always been a more outspoken kind of guy (which Duff isn't).
  15. Yeah I think it also had something to do with him having a daughter now and trying to be a family man.
  16. @Blackstar when was the first time since Snakepit that Slash and Gilby shared the stage? One of the Kings of Chaos shows?
  17. Would love to see them do Tijuana Jail together, and/or Monkey Chow.
  18. GnR won't respond, that was different because GnR is one of the defendants. Here it's just Axl. That's pretty common in memoirs/autobiographies. It's done when their name isn't remembered or they don't want to be mentioned. I don't think B was someone that she knew previously, just another woman who they met that night.
