wasted Posted September 25, 2011 Share Posted September 25, 2011 I think the remake tag sort of makes studios feel safer. they know they'll get the attention of an audience, then spend the money on marketing it. it's like why reinvent Coca Cola? just remarket it. like the Weinsteins had chance to pick up Red State by Kevin Smith. but they are into remakes more. it's a chance that isn't worth taking.
