It's "said" woman. Not sad. Listen to the Live Era version. Listen to the other songs I listed where Axl starts a line with "Said." He's known for it.

Google is ALWAYS wrong about lyrics. Everything is copied and pasted over from site to site.

For example: "Anything Goes."

So many sites list the words as follows: Panties 'round your knees with your ass in debris." Haha. That doesn't even make sense.

Or "be my rubbermade, baby" instead of "be my rubber maid, baby."

Anyway, it's definitely "SAID, woman, take it slow."

It says "debris" in my 3 appetite booklets and both my appetite record sleeves. He definitely pronounces it da breeze though.

This is madness. The "a" sound is very different in said and in sad. How could somebody believe that it was "sad" when it's never been pronounced with the usual "a" sound of the word sad in concert, ever?

Yes because when one sings, he sings every word like it's supposed to be pronounced.

That's why I said "in concert". It would have actually sounded like "sad" once or twice if that was the lyric. Even in that specific sentence in the way it's supposed to be sung, "saaaad" fits in well.

Stop googling Patience. You know what it says: 'SAID'

Yes, it's said. Just listen to any good bootleg. Don't know HOW people got that one wrong. If some of you people STILL insist that it's "sad", ask BBF or tweet Duff or Slash or something.
