KetchupNotMayo Posted June 1, 2012 Share Posted June 1, 2012 It's definitely weird that out of all the shows they've finished late as all hell around like 2am, they cut one short at 1:30am for transport reasons! Kinda funny, but hell, I'm sure nobody at the show gives a fuck, they got a stunning show. The only ones with any negatives to draw from this will be the usual NME article rolled out in the morning with one sentence about how Axl ended the show early to let fans get the last train home and about 3 paragraphs of every negative point of his career thus far. Maybe he can be extra thoughtful tomorrow and cut it short by a couple of hours just out of concern for the fans? Come on man, it was an awesome show but starting 20 minutes earlier would have meant people got to see the full encore. Not complaining and I can't wait to see him tonight, I just think it's not as simple as all that.Actually, it would be even more comfortable for people to not have to worry about the trains if he canceled the show. That couldn't have been undone by then. But, giving everyone "Paradise City" earlier and ending the show earlier is all that could be done by then. There was a complaint raised earlier this week and he attempted to address it. If they started playing at 3 or 4 AM, people would easily go home by catching the first trains that day. If the show gets too long, well, there are going to be trains for the next 18 hours at least.
