Appetite album covers - Original vs. Final

Which one do you think is the better album cover? Personally, I think it's the cross by far. To me the first one is just a generic punk rock album cover. The second one is an iconic image that actually has relevance to the band and in my opinion, the cover is a big part of the reason the album is so iconic today.

Although I do like the actual drawing on the original, the final version is much more iconic and grand. It's just one of those covers that are staples music history. Like op said, the original is quite similar to a lot of others, the final version is like no other.

I love that big red monster. I actually have a denim vest with just a huge drawing of that guy on the back.

Cross + skulls got more attitude and is makes you want to see the band more.

Other one looks to indie.
