But that's not really the point I'm making. I'm just saying that a year ago they were all complaining that was wasn't playing on enough material, and now they're saying they don't want him around at all.

I'm with you here man. People on internet forums are a bunch of idiots!

I do not see how any true fan would not want Mick Taylor around the Stones as much as possible. Best Stones era by far.

When I saw Mick Taylor with the Stones last year, playing Midnight Rambler... damn, it really was the best piece of music I've ever heard live.

They should do Plundered My Soul with Mick T and Ronnie

I still can't believe they sat on that song for 40 years before releasing it...

and fuck Doom and Gloom....One More Shot is where it's at!

One More Shot is alright but I think Doom and Gloom is one of their best songs in decades

They're kinda the same to me honestly. Doom And Gloom reminds me a bit of Rough Justice

Yeah, I'd love if they did JJF twice in the same set too.

I know the Stones rotate a few songs in the setlist every night, but if I had to pick a dream set that's somewhat realistic (And going with Zoso's mini MT set idea), it'd be something like this:

1. Start Me Up

2. Let's Spend The Night Together

3. When The Whip Comes Down

4. She's So Cold

5. As Tears Go By

6. Doom & Gloom

7. Just My Imagination

8. Little T&A

9. Happy

10. Midnight Rambler (w/ Mick Taylor)

11. Sway (w/ Mick Taylor)

12. Silver Train (w/ Mick Taylor)

13. Dead Flowers (w/ Mick Taylor)

14. All Down The Line (w/ Mick Taylor)

15. Can't You Hear Me Knocking (w/ Mick Taylor)

16. Brown Sugar

17. Gimme Shelter

18. Paint It Black

19. Sympathy For The Devil

---

20. You Can't Always Get What You Want

21. Jumpin' Jack Flash

22. Satisfaction (w/ Mick Taylor)

Do you really think they're gonna delay the announcement ? How can they? All the billboards say today!

You need to find room for one of the Mick Taylor songs of which Jagger robbed him of a songwriting credit: Moonlight Mile, Sway, Winter.

I've got Sway on my list. It's my favorite Stones song, after all.

I got Sway in C-town :headbang:

ANNOUNCE THE GOD DAMN TOUR, STONES!

A North American summer tour — an outing that includes the band's first Indianapolis date since 1994 — is expected to be announced soon, but perhaps not as soon as the band has hinted.

Through billboards and Twitter posts, the Rolling Stones zeroed in on "Thursday" when promoting upcoming news.

On Wednesday night, Nashville, Tenn., TV station WKRN-2 reported that "an issue with the nationwide promoter's ticketing" is shifting the tour announcement to a date later than Thursday.

Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ron Wood haven't conveyed specific plans for a Thursday announcement, and the band's publicist could not be reached for a comment.
