it's just The Seeker has become staple of recent set lists. Having a cover on the record like Live n Let Die or Heaven's Door just adds to the entertainment value. They's played The Seeker more than Scraped for example.

...and Dead Horse, Dust N' Bones, Perfect Crime, So Fine, 14 Years, Anything Goes, Yesterdays, If The World, Reckless Life, Pretty Tied Up and Back Off Bitch, to name a few. I still would prefer to hear original, new material on the next record than old covers I have heard many times.

No, I want a cover of a different band that inspires Axl either-

The Battle of Evermore - Zeppelin

Goodbye Yellow Brick Road - Elton John

Somewhat Damaged - Nine Inch Nails

Eleanor Rigby - The Beatles

Nobody's Fault But Mine - Zeppelin would be epic.

Fuck CD2. We need TSI?2.

On a serious note, after gnr put out a new record it would be cool to see them put out a new covers album, put songs like the seeker, sailing, don't let it bring you down, etc.on there. Hell they could bring in duff & izzy to record Dead Flowers.

I'd be okay with like an EP of covers they've done with the new band, but not on the next album. Something like:

1. Riff Raff

2. The Seeker

3. Holidays In The Sun

4. Sailing

5. Knockin' On Heavens Door (new version)

The last thing I would want on a original gnr record is another fucking cover

So you'd prefer Scraped over The Seeker cover?

I don't know, I'm dilemma'd.

One thing against it is that it doesn't really fit with the CD type material.

To me Live n Let Die and Heavens Door are the best songs on UYI. Only Nov Rain is really on a par with those songs.

I personally would take anything original over a cover.

I don't mind covers as b-sides or something of that nature
