Because this time of year is okay here.I doubt I'd be leaving/changing my season anytime soon, so; 'my' Autumn of pictures in South London and London and stuff... might do that.... It doesn't really snow here around Christmas, like on the postcards; might have in Charles Dickens' day, but not now, now that comes around January/February, even once in November but; that was real cold... And this summer I bought a very expensive camera. So I feel ok posting here. This is some of the stuff I tried in the first week I had my new toy. I tried some stuff involving high speed targets, such as bees. First while they were still, then flying. Then just some things you find around the garden. But let's be honest. The first one is in the wash-barrack of the Auschwitz-Birkenau woman's camp. We were there on a very hot day. At least 30 degrees. Someone had put a small wildflower into they picked on the sinks. Something about seeing something so cute and innocent and pretty in a place that was basically hell on earth. So I took a picture of that, with the focus on the cute and pretty part. The second is a very similar situation where someone had left flowers in the window of an old woman's barrack. The last one is of three Jewish kids who had sat down with a guitar at the end of the Birkenau train track inside the camp, between the ruins of gas chambers 2 and 3. One girl was softly singing Jewish songs while the guy played some guitar. I thought it was a very touching and beautiful moment. In no way a particularly good photo. But I loved it anyway. Finally there's some pictures I took in the Tatra mountains in Slovakia during a summer sunset. I'm not capable of using filters or editing. I have Korean, Japanese, Mexican, even Indonesian guitars that play better than my 2 Gibsons. They're inflate their prices sheerly on brand recognition, they're the apple of guitars.
