I love the "cone" effect Axl has on his vocals, just like I love the distortion he used on his vocals on OMG. Seems like the new OMG has the distortion removed though, from what I can hear.

I'm pretty confident that in the event that something leaks, it will be the Silkworms demo. It's just a matter of time.

TIL sounds awesome with rasp, it has almost a ghetto feel to it, like something you hear being played out of a beat up old car in the bad part of a city.

OMG was the same, except with less production over the guitars which were played by bumblefoot and fortus instead of Gary Sunshine and Dave Navarro.

Silkworms is more sped up, more like first time they played it, less like RIR. Axl uses a deeper voice, there's a lot of screams in the background.

We know that Checkmate/Jackie Chan is out there, silkworms, OMG, TIL remix, ITW and SR remix (they stink from the clips though, so who cares), and supposedly Atlas is out there. So far we've got BITW, Better Gone, Better Bumble, Better Ashba, and Going Down.

I honestly believe there's a lot more out there than that. Wouldn't be surprised if there's at least an album and a half in the hands of people outside the GnR circle. Not the only reason though. Axl talked about how people got attached to how the Chinese demos sounded like, and he seemed bothered by it. Artistically, there are many reasons why most musicians care about leaks.

Axl doesn't care anymore bc he's 52 years old, he struggles to stay in shape, his voice has slowly deteriorated, and there's no money in making records anymore.

The other problem is everyone compares him now to his 26 year old self. The guy is at a stage in his life where he cannot win! He doesn't even want to play the game anymore.

It's like if the internet progressed backwards. Imagine in the 90's having wifi and high speed internet, but as time goes on it slowly gets worse, starts disconnecting and gets extremely slow. Eventually you get back to dial up and you just say eff this it isn't working. I don't want to use the internet anymore! It doesn't work like it did in the 90's.

Axl can't keep up anymore and he doesn't want to be in music if he can't be at his best.

You know what? I actually LIKE "Ballad of Death" and "Mi Amor." I thought they were catchy fun little guitar jams. I have no opinion about DJ Ashba and his Hulk Hogan ears or whatever....but I like the fact that he tried to contribute something new instead of just doing another cover.

If anyone has the studio versions, leak 'em. There's no Axl vocals so not many people will even give a shit, and we've already heard it live a million times so it's not like it's "spoiling" anything. I want them. What would it hurt to leak those two DJ instrumentals?
