jamillos Posted March 2, 2024 Posted March 2, 2024 I’ve got about 4 or 5 new games – bought or even already downloaded – waiting for me, including gems like RDR2. And where am I instead, for about a thousandth time? That’s right, I’m messing around in the Harran slums, as the right maniac that I am. Dying Light 1 This game is so unique, I can’t get enough of it. Quote
Jwalker19 Posted March 5, 2024 Posted March 5, 2024 The last game I played was GTA San Andreas a few months back. Quote

jamillos Posted October 13, 2024 Posted October 13, 2024 Pacific Drive. It’s a pretty cool game. I’m not normally into this kind of car-mechanic simulator games, but this is different. Like Stalker, but mostly in a car. Which you have to tune up, along with your garage. There are all kinds of anomalies, and the atmosphere is great. Gotta admit, sometimes I still don’t know exactly what I’m doing and have to figure shit out as I go, but I’m getting there. And the feeling when you're back safe in your car! Quote
AtariLegend Posted October 16, 2024 Posted October 16, 2024 This summer I went back to WOW based on nostalgia I had for it 10 years ago. ...And honestly, it's just not the same experience. WOW used to be an easier simpler game, but it also more crucially had a much larger playerbase and social aspect. I enjoyed the raids, but in retrospect what I think I enjoyed most was the social experience and working together as a team in VC. That's kind of gone now with how the game is designed. I cleared recent raids and got higher scores in Mythic Plus (end game content ect), but it was mostly a very toxic/time consuming experience. Just 30 somethings arguing/blaming each other for basic mistakes. Being forced to grind to do content. Spending multiple hours wiping on something for a pointless achy. It's just not that fun for me anymore, I think I might miss the players I'd chat with than the actual gameplay from when I originally played. That's why I think going back this summer is making it easier to move on from it. Looking forward on catching up on other games, tv shows while spending the rest of my spare time more productively. 1 Quote

jamillos Posted January 9 Posted January 9 (edited) The new Indiana Jones game. And holy shit, is it great or what. Just digging my way around Cairo right now. This is definitely one of the best games I’ve played, and I’m not even halfway through. Like another movie from the golden era. The game is basically flawless, and so, so good!
