What do you guys think of hitting one of the bigger casino bars - like that middle floor one in the Luxor - or maybe in NYNY - whatever's closer. Are "drink specials" a thing in Vegas? Or should I expect to pay a $8 for a beer, etc..That's exactly what you should expect.Unless you get $10 of quarters for the slot machines and tip your waitress well. I worked it out to only be about $75 per person per night for Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Apparently it's not a bad hotel and only a few minutes from the show.Takes two of em does it sailor? There could be three for all I care. I don't plan on even being in the room that much. I guess it could be a bit tricky if someone meets a girl and wants to give her the high hard one. Easily walkable. 10-15 minutes max....depends how many bar stops you make. Or ride monorail if too lazy to walk. *edit- on further thought give yourself 25-30 to walk. I'm going to the arena several hours early on Friday so I'm going to be too hyped to go do anything on Friday other than get to the arena SUPER early and wait for them to let me in. I'm doing the Luxor, as it's affordable and pretty easy to get in and out of.Planet is in the middle, so I'm sure it's no more than a 10-15 min walk. I'd say shop price and how much luxury you want vs. location on the strip.Just remember if you stay downtown on Fremont, you'll need transportation to get up to the Strip - and probably a weapon by the bed to protect yourself.
