Now the wife is talking about how she drove her crazy hateful husband to the club numerous times and when he got the guns. What the hell was she waiting for to say something? Being his wife she had to know how hateful he was towards gays, women, Jews and Blacks, so why didn't she go to the police? Also the FBI questioned him many times too and unfortunately didn't find any reason to hold him or still check on him. It's very scary the world we live in because there's no 24/7 security anywhere. Externally directed or not, he certainly was externally influenced, and just as the Boston Bombers were, he provides more malcontents a template to execute Islamic Jihadism's agenda in the future. Even if you ban guns, some Jihadist whack job who has the inclination to train himself with a katana can cause considerable damage in a crowded public space, if he wants to. Will they ban those too? It isn't too far fetched to imagine a homegrown Jihadist guerrilla insurgency that can cause heavy casualties by targeting soft targets such as trains and cruise liners, or a school or a university, with or without guns. I think it's pretty obvious that he didn't have jack-shit to do with ISIS, aren't work colleagues claiming that he came out saying he had links to Al Qaeda, Hamas and Hezbollah and don't those organisations have conflicting ideologies? A lot of people were saying that he frequented that bars for recon' or something...how does that include getting rip roaring drunk at them too? And the gay dating apps? What, was he taking it up the loop for recon' too? Coming from a culture similar to Mateens, REALLY similar in fact, it ain't the kinda social situation you wanna come out as gay in.
