They was in the middle of a brilliant North American tour, and had just completed a succesful European tour. Then if this Better video was dropped at the same time, it would of just been amazing, and perfect timing.Then the video would of fit in within current events with Guns, and it would of sold more tickets for the North American leg of the tour, as US fans would of been able to see from the video how energetic GN'R's live shows were. The album would of been better recieved, more concert tickets would of been sold, GN'R would not of needed to cancel those US shows infavour of studio time. And most importantly of all it would of confirmed to Robin that his last 10 years in GN'R wasn't a waste, and he may still be in the band today. B)Yeah, but he didn't, and we will never know why. That is the thing, I saw him in 2006 three times in California, twice in SF, and once in Oakland, the Lars appearance, and you are right. But you know what, shit happens. And fans here seem to think that everything that happened was in his control. Has something bad ever happened to you that you had no or very little control over? Nobody seems to ever think that maybe he had good intentions but variables fucked it up. Because Axl fucked around for so long people just assume a mistake is his fault. It is like all the comments about Axl not showing up to Vegas etc. the fucking guy has been touring flawlessly for 6 years + and people still drop the "no show" thing.Not making excuses, maybe he just said "fuck it", but all that shit you typed about ticket sales, and Robin, with all due respect , is just talking out of your ass. You can't know that. What you can know it they will be in Vegas, I will be there, and I am damn tired of reading about how wrong Axl is yet all his does is tour, play great shows, and keep out of trouble. The only reason any GN'R fan likes this video is for the UNSEEN backstage footage and also some funny parts. On what concerns live performance editing is soooo bad... How can you edit a video where Axl is singing in the song and in the video he is running around??? It wasn't polished enough to be an official video and probably that is the reason why it was never released... Then we can argue about the little red devils.... but that's taste. I don't mind them even if it's plain weird. The bad live video editing is enough to understand why this video wasn't released.i'm a guns n roses fan. i like the new n' official guns n roses music video cause it's a great music video. clever concept. Unfortunately, when you get the "inner circle" status,compromising is going to happen. There's two events going on with the band, and some member side projects, but what else is there to talk about regarding them? I'm sure he wound up with a load of tour memorabilia.
