  1. I suppose that's a fair take. I just don't see how they are doing anything wrong with the way the tour has been presented. And I've seen the original lineup. I met Darrell & Vinnie twice when they were doing Damageplan. The second time, they remembered me from our first encounter. Those guys appreciated their fans and so I don't understand the dirtbag comment. I've seen other comments on YouTube as well, where people claim Pantera is music to beat you're wife to, and it grates on my nerves abit knowing that the guys who have passed away don't deserve that shit. All things considered, Anselmo was very nice when I met him as well. I don't agree with everything the guy has said or done, but he's made a great career for himself. Anyone who gives Anselmo a hard time here needs to take a step back and remember they're on a Guns N' Roses fan forum Sorry for the rant!
  2. I'll argue the Pantera reunion. I feel there is nothing wrong with bringing the music out to a new audience many years later. It's not like they are making new music under the banner, either. Philip may be a "jerk" to some but I give the guy a lot of credit for not just using the Pantera name as he started many bands since. Also, I find it hard to believe Dimebag Darrell and Vinnie Paul were dirtbags. Dime was the kind of guy who would do anything for his fans.
  3. I'm not an Isbell fan but a lot of people speak highly of him & his band.
  4. I just read all 67 pages of the court document regarding the new McMahon allegations and I have to say, this mother fucker needs to be rotting in prison somewhere.
  5. As cheesy as the November Rain video is, at least it was made by human beings who were trying to be creative and not some AI bullshit.
  6. All this talk about "at least they put in an effort" Guns N' Roses didn't make an effort. It's fucking computer generated. The only effort put in was the performance the "live" footage come from
  7. I've felt that way about most of Duff's Solo material. These guys are creatively bankrupt.
  8. Comparing apples, oranges & pears here. Slash is my favorite out of the three of them, though.
  9. https://youtu.be/ST4tp2Tw1Ys?feature=shared Got my tickets to see him in Toronto!
  10. Charley Crockett @ Massey Hall in Toronto on May 29! My first "major" country show. I've seen only local bands in the genre at this point.
  11. I still cannot believe they would hype up a music video made with live shots & AI as something "FN' Special". It's a music video. Probably a lame one at that. Hopefully there is more to it than just that.
  12. If it's a shit video for a shit song, it's not that "FN' Special" is it?
  13. 1. Hamilton, Ontario 2010 Axl's razor-sharp rasp. CD heavy setlist. TWAT. What a show! 2. Toronto, Ontario 2006 Axl's voice was in great shape. Cool set list. First time hearing Better live (leaks has happened) I was singing along to Better from the front row and it put a smile on Axl's face. 3. Toronto, Ontario 2016 First time seeing Axl & Slash together. The nostalgia made for an awesome night. 4. Toronto, Ontario 2002 First time seeing Guns N Roses live. After the VMA's I wasn't sure what to expect but it was great. Buckethead really impressed me. 5. Hamilton, Ontario 2011 Axl's vocals has downgraded since 2010 but the show was still cool. Loved Riff Raff! 6. Toronto, Ontario 2013 DJ Ashba ruined much of this show for me. Making out with his girlfriend while other band members had their solo spot. Felt like he didn't want to be there anymore, and his playing showed that.
  14. Because icons like Slash, Zakk Wylde, Dimebag Darrell & Randy Rhodes are not good enough influences
  15. I'm almost 40, play guitar and hadn't heard of this guy until this whole online altercation...
  16. It's not exactly what I'd like to see, but it would be cool nonetheless. Wichita Lineman & Slither. Or how about a mix of covers like above, and re-recorded CD songs like CD, Street Of Dreams, Better, etc.
  17. At this point, if it isn't studio releases (wether that come in the form of CD era stuff reworked, or newly written), or some proshot stuff from the late 80's early 90's, I don't give a shit.
  18. Were you a fan during the silent period of 2003-2006?
  19. Willie's sounding a bit rough but it's still pretty great!
  20. Another great selection! I have one of these shows on DVD somewhere, should play it again soon. I also really enjoyed Better from LA 2006.
  21. The greatest country music singer/song writer of all time, Hank Williams.
  22. Both great choices! I always say Boston '02 is my favorite performance of "The Blues" and its because of the soundboard recording quality. Albany '02 is a superior performance, though.
