So what will you get this time? Worth the extra cash just to be front and center or don't mind being in 2nd row? How much were the tickets for each?

I was in Brasil 2017, Philippines 2018. Always front and center but then there were no early access those times.

I don't know. It depends on how much more the ticket cost (in Milano it was 290... usually I think they were going for 350, so it was a bit cheaper than the others). Also on how early I can be there. I don't think it would have made much difference if I had gotten there at noon, because people there give themselves numbers and expect you to go in according to the number. I got there at around 9:30 and got #44. Luckily things didn't go as planned and there was a bit of chaos will handing out the wrist bands and we got divided into 2 entrances to the stadium and once we were insided the stadium at the entrance to the field I managed to get right to the front as most people didn't give a shit about numbers anymore. :P Especially the latecomers.

For me it is usually worth it to be at the front (I'm in the front at almost all my shows). I hate people standing in front of me, screwing up my view. But then again, I do not want to have to pay twice as much, just because I'm dependant on front row. In Mannheim, someone of the early entry people switched place with me and let me into the front row. In Milano I let someone, who didn't have early entry, stand between me and another early entry people. Sometimes there are not enough early entry people and you make it to the front row without. Everyhing is possible. I guess it depends on what chance you wanna take.

So which tickets are you guys getting? VIP/Early Access?

Last year in Milan I got a Early Entry for the fist time. I have to say, it was pretty cool. Got to front row center. Though I still had to be at the stadium all day. In Munich I got a regular ticket, got there at around 15:00 and was in the second row. So. <_<

That Athens show is gonna be 🔥

Saw Scorpions and Alice Cooper at the stadium there last year. If it's the same promoter, prepare yourself for that stage to be 3 m high. That was horrible. They had a catwalk and from one side of the stage you couldn't see to the other. Standing at the end of that stage, was like standing in front of a wall.

Do we think this is all the dates? Do we see additonal or do they dates pretty much confirm that the whole European leg

I think that pretty much was the reason to wait that long. To announce everything at once. The way it should be. Nothing more annoying than to plan to go to a gig that is somewhere far and then after that they announce something close.

Probably for people who aren't aware of Nightrain and think you can just order it without being a member.

But why does it say "This year" then, when it never was. And what the hell "limited edition"?? You buy this crap, expecting to get something out of it, other than being able to buy tix a day earlier and then, oops, too bad, supplies don't last!. You don't get anything else. Fuck that shit.

Starting with “gosh” and calling it the “best and greatest festival in the world” two times in one post was a bit of a giveaway even without the context of the other posts on that page. But fair enough, like I said, some are better ar detecting sarcasm than others and that’s okay.

Well, the sarcasm could go either way, obviously the poster thinks the organizers are not morons. Who's to say that she doesn't think that Glastonbury is the biggest and most important festival in the world. It has been said here, after all. Without sarcasm. But we really need an annoucement, either tour or album. The shit we're arguing about here...

    Very true.

They fucked me over recently by inexplicably 'cancelling' tickets two months after I bought them, then claiming it was a mistake and that I was 'welcome to buy the same seats again'.....for double the price I paid for them.

I declined, so they refunded me.....minus the 'transaction fee' which they said was non refundable. So essentially I paid them money for nothing. Many complaints got me nowhere.

Trying really hard not to use them ever again, but it's difficult as they have such a monopoly now.

Yeah. And those assholes know that. Reading the fine print always makes my blood boil. Especially hearing this, while they always claim that tickets can't be cancelled and they can't be reissued. Total bullshit. They can do everything to fuck you over and as a fan you just have to accept to get fucked in the ass.

They are fucking shit though. Let's not be too generous to them......and as the seller of the tickets they are responsible for holding on to a lot of people's money indefinitely.

If they don't have the answers, they need to pass it up the chain and get them. They've got to do something for their sky high 'booking fees'.

At this point they don't even give you tickets (not even PDFs you can print) anymore, only mobile crap. So expecting them to answer questions is quite too much asked of them.

Duff confirmed Glastonbury. Clip is above somewhere.

Got it! Weird that he has it listed as his show on his website though!

Whatever. You just fell for Slash posting a concert that isn't him.  I won't believe Glastonbury until it's officially announced.

Is it financially worth them flying to the UK for one show? Glastonbury is famous for not paying much.

I don't know. It's not like them to cancel shows these days, but, just throwing the idea out there in the absence of any news on tour dates at all and a ticking clock!

If that's the case, then maybe that is the reason why they also do Hyde Park. But whatever, still not sold on Glastonbury. Would make sense though to announce Hyde Park as the "only" date they are doing, if that is the case. However they would phrase it (should Glastonbury indeed be part of the schedule). That would help Hyde Park, that would help the fans and it wouldn't matter for Glastonbury, which is sold out anyway.
