  1. I think it's pretty cool that you can make a paper aeroplane with it.
  2. I don't find ABSURD particularly compressed/loud compared to Perhaps, both sound about the same to me, Hard Skool is the one where I have to turn down the volume when I listen to the three in a row.
  3. There was a real missed opportunity not having TIL as a single, if not THE single for CD. Was always the CD song that got the biggest crowd reaction in 2010, and while a lot of people here find it cheesy, it had the potential to be a crossover hit like November Rain. The ballads have always been hugely popular, and the fact that it still cracks the GNR top 20 all these years on despite zero promotion says something.
  4. I’ve had casual fans mention it to me, usually surreptitiously. ”Do you, uh, follow Slash on Facebook? I do, some of the stuff he posts… 👀”
  5. For the later leaks, yeah, but this bit stood out to me about the initial leak:
  6. Wow, good catch, didn’t notice that extended “alone”. Could still be tweaked, or maybe another take from that time.
  7. The Rolling Stone article hints heavily at who actually did the leaking.
  8. If you really turn up the volume on the Village leak, you can hear low vocals there. Pretty sure there are no new vocals on this, but everything instrumentally is different. Likely that the Brain drums are from the ChiDem era and obviously Slash and Duff parts are new.
  9. The official announcement was for the gig (SFP reported it before Hell & Heaven Fest did).
  10. Man, Axl really going for it on TIL 👏🏼
  11. Ciudad de México, it’s how Mexicans often refer to Mexico City.
  12. Now this is really interesting, I wonder by this point how close it was to the version that leaked in 2018: Another thing I noticed: on the Village leak, the lyric is clearly "parasitic semen", whereas in every other version since (including HoB '01) it's "parasitic demon".
  13. Both Beltrami and Buckmaster worked on songs. Songs worked on by both on them: SoD TWAT Madagascar Prostitute Whereas only Beltrami worked on TIL (and the unreleased tracks).
  14. Looks like Patti recorded her part around 2004: https://gnrhispana.forosactivos.net/t648-entrevista-con-patti-hood She was just given an instrumental at the time. Not to say vocals were not recorded as I don't think she would near to hear them to play her part, but Axl's vocals still sound 2006-ish.
  15. Maybe. Beltrami is on it and he apparently worked on songs in 2002, but the ones he specifically mentioned working on that year were the ones which didn't make the album, so maybe the ones on the album were worked on at a different point? But the lack of Paul Tobias as well makes me think the version on the album was produced after Bucket left.
  16. Cierre de gira means end of tour ("tour closure"), so it seems like just a one-off date, unless they squeeze in some shows between the 16th of October and the 5th of November.
  17. According to wiki one was the A-side in some countries, and one was the A-side in other countries, very confusing.
  18. Definitely Better, Shackler's, and Sorry. TIL is an interesting one because neither Sean Beavan nor Buckethead were involved in it at all, at least according to the liner notes, so it seems that the version we have on the album wasn't produced until after Bucket had left the band.
  19. They were eating General Tso’s chicken, an American Chinese dish: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/General_Tso's_chicken
  20. They already did Mexico tours in 2019 and 2022, bit soon to be doing a full tour again. Tickets are already sold out but there is a waiting list for resales.
  21. That's the last day of Hell and Heaven festival: https://hellandheavenfest.com
  22. I love the Super Deluxe edition of Rumours, hearing early versions of tracks like Planets of the Universe that wouldn’t come out until years later (with very 2001 production).
