  1. Yeah I saw :/ I’m in the Golden Circle too on the left :)
  2. No worries, will see if there are still some left when I get there
  3. Do you mind picking me up a Medium of the event T-shirt? I can pay you via PayPal if you have one or give you cash, I can grab it from you after the show.
  4. Curfews mean they don't want to waste time, so they just go straight into playing more songs, which is a good thing
  5. This was really cute live, he did jazz hands 🤗
  6. Are the Axl backing vocals newly recorded? Sounds a bit different than the Village demo?
  7. Anything Goes is surprisingly good live? Think About You remains the only AfD track I haven’t heard live. Never thought I’d miss Teddy Zig-Zag but it is a bit weird hearing Bad Obsession without his contributions, still fun, though. Pretty Tied Up is a good addition as well 👍🏽 Think this was my first time hearing SoD with Slash. Think it may also be longest GNR gig I’ve attended personally? Think the only concerts I’ve been to that were lengthier were Bruce Springsteen in London in 2013 and Leonard Cohen in Manchester that same year. Axl in great spirits throughout the night, thanked Glasgow multiple times for their patience. One guy near me was shouting for Shadow For Your Love, which was a bit weird, but glad he got his request fulfilled. Also there was a mosh pit for Walk All Over You??? I recorded that but I was pretty far from the stage. If no one else uploads that to YouTube, I’ll do so in a few days. Looking forward to London and maybe bumping into @kanecrescenteagain!
  8. This really stood out to me, wonder what the reasoning is 🤔
  9. Working until 5 so probably gonna aim to be there for about 6.
  10. Hostel I'm staying at just played November Rain and now they're playing KOHD
  11. £30 in 2002 surprises me, pretty sure I paid £25 in 2012 for a tee at Glasgow, think it was £25 for Iron Maiden the following year as well. Saw The Warning last night at an O2 Academy and a smaller act like them are now selling T-shirts for £30 😬
  12. Just got into Glasgow from London myself this morning. Wanna head over to the gig together?
  13. Went to Ciro’s in London, many photos of celebrities on the wall with the owner. One stood out: When do y’all think this is from? I reckon around the London ‘91 show?
  14. Man, Axl really pulled it out for those TWAT screams, would've died if I were there Fingers crossed for Hyde Park...
  15. I like the State of Grace demo but it's hard to imagine that song being released today with the current line-up without being radically re-arranged. It's definitely not The General, can tell that from the phone clip of the latter. I have to imagine Atlas gets released at some point, that's been worked on for so many years and already has vocals. ABSURD Hard Skool Perhaps The General Atlas Shrugged Hoping we get Soul Monster because that instrumental was fucking awesome. Berlin and Seven would be nice because the instrumental of the former was cool and the latter has been hyped up by Beltrami and Brain.
  16. I like Don't Damn Me but that song would have probably been impossible for Axl to sing even back when it was released, there are so many long stretches without breaks or pauses.
  17. I'd be happy even with this shorter setlist for the London show. Bad Obsession, Pretty Tied Up, Down on the Farm... heck, even hearing Anything Goes would be fun for the novelty factor. But those first three are songs we've been asking to be added to the set for ages, and it seems they listened, so credit where it's due
  18. Great setlist, looking forward to the London show now
  19. I think it's a pretty decent package I haven't signed up since I'm only going to one gig this year and got a ticket for that without needing a presale code, but that Wembley '91 CD is cool, I'd buy if it were sold separately. Between that and the Vegas Blu-Ray I'm really hoping for more out of the vault. As soon as this stuff is sold on its own I'll be buying them.
  20. Best: GNR: L'ARC Paris 2010 - Dream to see Axl in such an intimate venue GNR: London 2010 - Amazing energy, roof went off when Duff came on stage GNR: Atlantic City 2012 - Another great intimate gig, this time with real fans as opposed to the L'ARC crowd Iron Maiden: Rock in Rio 2013 - "SCREAM FOR ME, BRAZIL!" Prince: Saw him three times in 2014. Once at an arena show in Birmingham, which was fantastic, but then I saw him do a 6pm and 9pm show on the same day at the Roundhouse in London and that was on another level. Not many artists I would not get tired of seeing do two shows back-to-back, and I'm not even that big a Prince fan. Leonard Cohen: Manchester, 2013. Had so much energy for a guy who was almost 80 and whose songs are generally depressing. Bruce Springsteen, London 2013 and 2014. It's Bruce, 'nuff said. ELO, London 2014: Just a magical concert, so much love from the crowd seeing Jeff Lynne perform again, an uplifting show. Portishead, EXIT Festival 2011: There was some kind of otherworldly connection with the audience. I was sober but felt like I was on something. Duran Duran, EXIT Festival 2012: Man, I was not expecting these guys to rock this hard. Pulp, EXIT Festival 2011: Jarvis Cocker is a hell of a frontman, and they brought on some of Arcade Fire for "Common People" in the encore. Worst: GNR: Guadalajara, 2019. Band was OK but the energy and vibes were bad due to the promoters fucking up the entry system. Also pissed that they didn't play Locomotive :/ New Order, EXIT Festival, 2012. I left after a few songs, not engaging at all. Faith No More: London, 2014. Total opposite vibe of the awesome club show I'd seen them do two years prior. Just the wrong vibe for a sunny afternoon festival show, especially choosing to debut two new songs to a crowd of casuals.
