  1. Wishful thinking: it's music. Rational thinking: it's merch and something unrelated to music. Probably take us years to find out though!
  2. Presume you're joking......but not entirely sure!
  3. https://shop.udiscovermusic.com/products/guns-n-roses-appetite-for-destruction-locked-n-loaded-box-set?_pos=14&_sid=17c174052&_ss=r Fucking hell! Virtually free.
  4. Healthy thread this one. Who needs music to discuss when we have nutcases, sticking plasters and umbrellas?
  5. Didn't see that being sold, but the T-shirts were ridiculously expensive. Highest I've ever seen for a gig I think.
  6. Weird with the Manchester show - he played a venue half the size last tour and it didn't sell out! Would much have preferred him to do the same place..... Will probably still go, but makes me a bit less enthusiastic.
  7. Are there any pictures of that tattoo?! Fucking hell- imagine having that on you for the rest of your life!
  8. I honestly think this has to be nonsense. I've been to numerous GNR gigs and never once seen Axl take plasters off his hand and drop them in the pit! I feel these people may be absolutely nuts.
  9. I mean this sounds like bollocks (why on earth would security guards have used sticking plasters to give away?!) but if it isn't, and combined with those creepy photos, Axl should shell out on a few restraining orders. Utterly sad behaviour from all involved.
  10. I think the money is more there than the US though for some reason.....
  11. Add him as a friend on Facebook and ask him what he's up to at the weekend.
  12. I bet they do Europe next summer. Stadiums and festivals.
  13. Great, thanks! I don't do all the social media bollocks so get out of the loop with stuff like that!
  14. Love it. Can't wait to walk into a record shop and pick this album up, take it home and blast it. Simple pleasures!
  15. I don't know about that. Last time he came to the UK he did 3 or 4 theatre sized venues in different cities.....this time nearly all Arenas, which apparently didn't sell too well. Theatres is his level these days I think. As for setlists.....well, if people go expecting GNR songs, that's on them really. He hasn't done more than one for a couple of tours, and if they cared enough they could easily find that out before they buy a ticket. It's a SMKC show, and, rightly, that's what the set is.
  16. Couldn't agree more on all those aspects. The live music world is very different (and worse in my view) for those of us able to remember how it was.
  17. Decent review there- I did have those fears with him doing Arenas. It doesn't feel like an Arena show to me. Interesting about the crowd- I saw GNR in Glasgow last year and it was one of the flattest, quietest, most bland crowds I've ever been in, which was bizarre given Scotland's reputation and the fact pit tickets were so expensive. Perhaps things are changing up in Scotland in regards to crowds?
  18. An absolutely incredible Always On The Run probably, although the first run of four or five songs was great too....
