  1. There are kids on YouTube better than both. Haters will hate 🤷🏻‍♂️ I really loved Robin’s playing because of how different it was. He wasn’t like Dj trying to sound Slash
  2. I think peak excitement for me was in 2014 when an album + remix was rumored but the reunion was really surreal. Searching the internet endlessly for as many clips of the troubadour as I could was pretty surreal. I’m pretty happy to excited to hear the general, hard to believe it’s only a couple more weeks.
  3. I think the biggest roadblock to this happening is the fact that the band is not hurting for money or publicity. BUT it would be cool to see an official documentary with interviews
  4. Yes, very odd they sat with those mixes for that long and still went with it. I guess we don’t know all the circumstances around the production and release of those songs (we ARE talking about GNR). Honestly, perhaps sparked a new interest in an album for me. Imagine an album with every song clipping like HS. It would be their worst album to date sonically speaking. So that begs the question, if there is an album: would Absurd and Hardskool even be on it??? If so, I really hope they’re brought up to par.
  5. I didn’t know this either but makes sense now. From my first listen I thought Perhaps sounded closer to that album than the other two singles by miles.
  6. I wouldn’t count on 8. I believe 7:45 is average this tour
  7. IRS and Chinese mostly. I love CD but there is so much shit going on in that final recording Catcher would sound cool too
  8. Franks job is the 2nd most physical. I’d throw him in there get well whoever it is! Getting a flight plus hotel for a show to be cancelled sucks.
  9. I don’t think because only a couple shows were originally planned means nu gnr would’ve resumed. NuGNR was like what? Axl, Richard, Frank, Dizzy? Could you imagine if they played Troubadour and Coachella just to hire new replacements for Tommy and Bumble 😂 who tf would buy tickets to that
  10. I don’t think people complained about him nearly as much until he tuned down his snare. I’ve always just not liked his tone but even as a drummer, found it hard to have a problem with his playing.
  11. I can’t wait to hear an all new gnr song. Especially one that that is apparently really good. Very crazy that this is the first time since Chinese came out that most of us will be hearing a *finished* brand new song
  12. To those who weren’t there, check out SLITHER on YouTube. He fell and played it off in the coolest most Axl Rose way ever. I remember my heart sinking when Madagascar was played. Never heard that one, even when I saw them with NuGuns. Truly, a special song.
  13. Axl was very chatty tonight. The mix was the best I’ve ever heard live. Madagascar was a nice surprise. Killer time, really glad I went
  14. Radar isn’t looking great but thinking the rain will miss us
  15. From what I can recall, this might be the biggest concert to ever happen in Geodis so far. it was just built a year or two ago and mostly just been soccer games. Hoping the sound rocks!
  16. Not street- street should be free around there, atleast on my street it was. For soccer games there are usually people (maybe business owners?) who rent parking spaces in their lots for cash or Venmo. There is also the flea market today which is next door to the stadium so it’s going to be crazy. thinking about just ubering good luck!
  17. the stadium is right in a old neighborhood so you shouldn’t have to walk too far if you get there soon enough before doors. Definitely bring cash
  18. They have spots off site that people rent out all the time and lots of street parking if you get there before doors (I used to live a block from the stadium)
  19. As Doug Goldstein said “Izzy wanted Guns to be the biggest club band ever”, not the biggest in the world. Can’t blame him I guess
  20. I’ll be there. Should be a great show considering it’ll be full of Carrie’s fans 🤟🏼
  21. I mean I know why it LITERALLY cost that much. Like aside from the earlier years where a huge majority of it was worked on, they really just paid people to sit around and tweak it for years. Poorly planned maybe but still one of my favorite sounding records. That might be half the fun of listening to that album for me. It’s an enigma that it took so long and cost so much.
  22. I’ve never understood why it was so expensive. I feel like you’d have to try hard to spend that much on making a rock album. I guess that figure might include the cost of the 2 unreleased parts of the so called trilogy but wtf.
