  1. It’s a mygnrforum exclusive memory we’ll bond over and talk about for another 1000+ pages til the next drop 😎
  2. Just listened to it. Got goose bumps at the chorus. Can’t wait to blast on my studio monitors once it’s really out maybe this is how they plan on announcing their up close and personal dive bar tour for next year 🤣
  3. Imagine being one of the unknowingly lucky souls at a bar when a random guy comes in just to use the jukebox
  4. I thought the live show with three guitarist sounded fucking amazing. In hindsight, Fortus probably could’ve played any of those solos bumble or ashba had to play with ease. I think out of any of the Nu-Gnr guitarist, he’s the best fit
  5. I bought a copy on Vinyl last year for $70 off eBay. Best Buy sticker sealed and everything. Pissed that I opened it and played it because it’s a future collector item but I guess records are meant to be played. I noticed the tank in quality too. I kinda like it though. It sounds rougher and kinda reminds me of some of the demos in that way
  6. I don’t know if this has been said but I highly doubt they would release a single or debut it at midnight in a country that isn’t in a U.S. time zone. Maybe we’ll find out tonight. Could be wrong
  7. I agree. Other than distribution of physical music (which was butchered with Hardskool, to be fair probably due to COVID) I don’t really know what a label does anymore for a band as big as GN’R. interested in what happened to Black Frog and why that was solely used for Chinese
  8. I guess that depends on the style of what the new stuff would be. The CD left overs are apart of Axl’s Magnum Opus which I find way more mature than 80% of what was written with Slash and Duff. that being said, it would be more exciting if they were putting out all new unheard stuff. My dream album for this lineup would look like this: 4 or 5 newly written songs and then re-records of Chinese, Better, Catcher plus hardskool ep plus perhaps or whatever else they dust off from that era
  9. Going to see them in Nashville in 3 weeks. Hoping to hear: reckless life shadow perhaps pretty tied up bad obsession and anything off Chinese would be great bc I’ve only ever heard CD, Better, and This I Love live!!! hope to hear TWAT
  10. Came across this guy again last night on YouTube and thought I’d share this is a cool take on the song
  11. I love Ron’s solo but I feel it’s so wrong to take buckets solo off what is the most sounding buckethead song on the album. especially when you’re replacing it with a guy similarly named Bumblefoot 😂
  12. Pretty exciting stuff. I hate to feel more excited about someone else’s song featuring Axl but at least we know that it will probably come out soon
  13. I saw a video of a SA show and everyone was jumping and screaming the words. I’d buy pit if they were like that in the U.S.
  14. That’s true, but Nu guns didn’t really try. They hid behind the false GNR identify… which I think hurt them. If anything, Velvet Revolver is basically just as much if not “more” GNR than Nu-Guns, but at least they made a name for themselves and wrote new songs. Hell, if you use the logic that the frontman’s presence is enough to justify keeping the name, it’s like saying velvet revolver is stone temple pilots. Just never sat right with me.
  15. My guilty confession: Chinese Democracy and Nu-GNR isn’t really Guns N’ Roses at all… it’s way fucking better and would’ve been recognized as so if they identified as a supergroup or Axl solo project I grew out of the classic GNR band a long time ago. The moment I heard ABSURD, it became a meme
  16. Between Gilby and Dj. Nothing against them, just the least amount of contribution
  17. I guess it’s the difference between “a real band” and what Guns N’ Roses or most legacy acts are. Is this official? I would’ve thought they were all “touring members” under Axl’s GNR. Some of them just happen to also get royalties from stuff they did 30 years ago
  18. LOL! Yeah it’s interesting how they’ve promoted that album. Chinese isn’t a really a bad single. But Street of Dreams seems like an odd choice. I feel like a radio friendly version of Madagascar or even Riad would’ve made more sense
  19. Gotta give credit where it’s due. I don’t mind slash’s solo here! If I remember, Robin kept it pretty tame originally? I was more scared it would be random noodling also: that clip of reckless life is fockn great
  20. Yeah I meant after those years. I was watching a clip from the London show in 2012 and forgot how tight that band was. They didnt have that signature classic-GNR sound but damn were they fun to watch. Glad I got to see that lineup
