I think of the quotes as being part of the lyrics. I was kinda joking about Madagascar lyrics, but my main problem with the song is how the chord progression - which is already very, very basic - is reused for the whole song. I know it's all about the layers and different arrangements, but I think the song would really benefit with a new section with different chords. Have to agree. The chorus is really what brings this song down to me. And it's also repetitive.

I noticed two things with this thread. The misspelled "Chinese Democravy" title Madagascar's lyrics is as repetitive as Perhaps, The General and Hard Skool, but I guess that's tend to be overlooked

Well, technically the whole album leaked days before the release. It had an annoying MSN (or was it ICQ? hahah) notification sound throughout. I don't count it as a real leak though.

Indeed. It didn't help either that the album version came with that long intro (and IMO unnecessary) and with very subpar mix that took off all of the nice heavy and textured sound of the demo.

I think it's like when you smoke a lot and your voice sounds like you're a washed up and tired old Donald Duck. In Axl's case, it would be a different damage, more to do with his vocal cords not stretching as much just because he's older.

This is a reworked and reimagined version of the classic Axl Rose and West Arkeen demo from late 80s. Production, drum arrangement, programing, mix and mastering - @evader Guitars, bass, additional instruments - Bruno do Amaral (Voodoochild). The video is just something I edited this afternoon, didn't spend too much time on it at all. Hope you all like it.
