Went to Best Buy tonight and bought the movies I planned on getting next week, so I'll just get them adjusted then.

$14.99

Titanic 3D

I, Robot 3D

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter 3D

Eastbound & Down Season 1

Eastbound & Down Season 2

2 for $14.99

Woman In Black

Black Dynamite

$11.99

Archer Season 1

Archer Season 2

Thinking about returning Eastbound & Down and waiting for the complete collection in December, but we'll see.

All seasons of Breaking Bad sold out online in about a half hour or so, and I wasn't able to get an order in for them so I'm going to try to get them put on hold in the morning, but if I can't I won't be too upset about it since I've seen them all and won't be re-watching anytime soon. I got the main stuff I wanted, along with an order tonight for Firefly: Complete Series ($12.99) and the Ocean's Trilogy ($9.99). Both blind-buys, but couldn't pass them up at those prices, especially when I've heard nothing buy great things about Firefly.

You should spend your money on that instead of rubbish like I Robot.

Mr. Zint - you've got the Criterion A Night to Remember Blu-ray right? I've got the original DVD release of that. It's not exactly a movie I watch all the time but I've been considering the upgrade. Are the new special features worthwhile? And did they reinsert the small clip of someone swimming a baby to Lightoller's overturned lifeboat after the Titanic sinks? My old VHS of it has that scene (as small as it is) but I remember it being criticized that the Criterion version omitted it and jumps right to Lightoller directing the boat so I was wondering if they decided to reinsert it.

I was looking for part of a conversation in this thread, and found this post (I missed it before).

Sorry about that.

I actually haven't watched this one yet, but I'll try to pass along the info when I do.

Seasons 1-4 of Breaking Bad on blu-ray for $38 after tax.

Shit, how'd you swing that?

Best Buy has all of them for $11.99 this week (my store has plenty of copies, so most should as well), and Seasons 1 & 2 are B1G1 Free.

So, my Best Buy haul so far this week includes:

Breaking Bad Seasons 1-4 $38

Ocean's Trilogy / $10

The Departed (steelbook) / $10

Firefly: The Complete Series / $13

Pirates! Band of Misfits 3D $15

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter 3D / $15

Titanic 3D / $15

I, Robot 3D / $15

The Woman In Black / $5

Black Dynamite / $5

Archer Seasons 1-2 / $27

Eastbound & Down Seasons 1-2 / $30

Just under $200 for all of it, but I had about $100 in giftcards, so not bad at all, for me! :D

And I'm picking up The Expendables 2 on Tuesday, and depending on how my impulse-buying goes, I might snag A Christmas Carol 3D and The Walking Dead Season 1. But, we'll see.

Yeah, it wasn't anything too great, but the action scenes were well done and pretty entertaining, in my opinion. I would have held off longer, but I figured $15 for the 3D version was more than fair for something that new.

Also, I've officially run out of space on my shelf  Unless I start taking down some of the steels, which I don't wanna do, I need to find another route, or buy more shelves, or stop buying blu-rays.

Slight buyers remorse on the Breaking Bad seasons...

I want them, but also have no idea when I'll watch them again. Meh, we'll see. Probably end up watching them again with someone else or something.

I know what you mean. I have seven seasons of House and have only watched the first two more than once and haven't even watched the seventh. Since Breaking Bad is on Netflix I think I'll just stick to that for now, especially since I've gone through the whole series twice.

Not to mention, I've got loads of DVDs I really don't feel like trading in for Blu Ray and my player is crap. It was $78 two years ago, probably like $50 now.

I bought both, how about that, ya hooray for tolerance!?

I, Robot is an entertaining film, and for the 3D pack at $14.99, I couldn't pass it up. So go fuck yourself. :max:

$38? Damn. Amazon still wants $30 for the DVD of Season 4 alone. Suddenly the $50 I spent on all four unopened seasons doesn't seem like quite as good of a deal. That was without trade-in's though. ;)

No worries, I figured that reply got lost in the shuffle of the thread. I was just curious because it's not something I desperately want to upgrade but will if either the new bonus features are worth it or if they restored the cut scene.

The $38 for all 4 seasons of Breaking Bad didn't include any trade-ins. That's not going on right now. They're just all on sale right now for $11.99, and Seasons 1 and 2 are Buy 1 Get 1 Free. I had a bit of buyer's remorse, but it's whatever really. Hell of a deal so I'm not gonna return them.

And yeah, I know. Nearly half of my steels aren't displayed like I want them to be, so I need to figure something new and better out for my movie situation. :(
