Georgy Zhukov
Bond seems to be using the P99 instead of the PPK/S.
Facekicker
I've been saying it all along, they should remake OHMSS and when the first details of SPECTRE emerged it all started to look like that. I'm not expecting an exact remake but there are a LOT of similarities so far, too many for it not to be at least inspired by OHMSS. If they kill off Blofeld I'll be fucking enraged though.

DieselDaisy
There was something about this in the paper today. Apparently they were trying to film a cemetery scene in Rome but were not permitted by the religious order.

James Bond
I'm going to love the location work in this, even without Roger Deakins on board for cinematography. Also, how cool is it to see a briefing in the classic M office again? After Skyfall's ending that's been one of the things I've been looking forward to the most.
Powerage5
Ralph Fiennes looks like a boss from the little bit we've seen so far. I'll really miss Judi Dench, but I can't think of anyone better to pass the torch on to.
Georgy Zhukov
Ralph Fiennes is perfect for M. He basically played a more psychotic M in In Bruges.
Georgy Zhukov
I know this movie is going to be great. Sure it will be picked apart, today's audiences lack imaginations. As long Mendes is involved the film will be in good hands. Purvis and Wade know James Bond inside and out, I was excited that Logan was going solo with it but after hearing how that backfired I am glad they came back. Most of all I am happy Craig is in it. He is James Bond. I bet he'd do one more if Mendes would return. And the cast is great. Jesper Christensen returning, Andrew Scott being cast (Love him in Sherlock), Christoph Waltz as the bad guy. And the two Bond girls are going to be great. Though I might prefer Monica over Lea.

James Bond
And I won't be surprised if they snag Mendes for that one too. What a perfect way to end Craig's tenure - a Mendes trilogy. It'll help keep the style consistent if the story arc does indeed continue. I do think that among Quantum's many faults that it hurt not having Campbell back. The film looks and feels too different from Casino which hurt the idea that it was a direct sequel.I'm also really looking forward to Newman's score. He did a nice job on Skyfall so it'll be nice to see how he handles it with a bit more breathing room and more Bond experience. After all, I find the later Barry and Arnold scores to be among their respective best work in the franchise.

I'd also like a Mendes triology...it just feels right at this point. I also agree that Quantum feels too different from CR, even though it's suppose to take place like 5 minutes later (I have no idea why they wouldn't just hire him for both when they wrote CR). I really like what Newman brought to Skyfall, and thought it was a great score. I definitely agree that some of the later Barry (TLD!) and Arnold scores are among their best. Georgy Zhukov
Quantum was Marc Forster jerking off to himself. World War Z is another example how uneven his films are.
Crazyman
Haven't seen it, but was the editing as poor as it was in QoS?Not that it would've been a classic Bond film regardless, but I believe it would've held up a lot better if they didn't use that type of editing, even if Foster was still the director. The opera scene in particular would've been a classic moment, for example...something I've brought up numerous times in this thread

It's still a top moment in the film, but the editing and direction really does make many of the scenes worse. With Campbell at the helm, what is there would at least be improved into a more coherent film. The opening car chase is another example. Awful editing and happens way too fast. Otherwise, it may have been a great opening.
