Well, not sure if that was worth all that wait. I can't see that clip if released at the time making any waves at all.

The titles/names at the start were fucking terrible. Armature hour.

That said it was nice to see the happy Axl footage.

wonder when the kid who made this video is gonna surface.

Oh this finally leaked.

It's truly disappointing when untalented people are given opportunities to document one of the greatest bands in history.

Axl is a perfectionist musically but I don't know why he hires no-talent clowns to market his work.

Poor compositions, no organization, and sloppy editing. Fuck.

He is known for giving jobs to people he likes regardless of talent. See Sebastion Bach.

Who's spotted the red little china man running around throughout the video? I see him once at the beginning and end.

I only saw him at the end, can you point us to his other appearances at the "begining" and "throughout the video", what times are they?

He jumps out the car quite quickly at the start, with Axl.

The most bad ass thing I've ever seen is watching Axl speed around in a Lamborghini with a police escort.

Ferrari!

Ok then - please explain the never before seen car footage at the start, backstage videos, the bike, Lars, etc. all with the same consistent quality.

...if you believe that is a real video I have an Atlas Shrugged I want to sell you. No way in hell that is a real video. Do you really think those ghetto ass graphics around the band members are professional :rofl-lol:

Once again, leaked footage combined with some other crap, maybe, but a real video. There are parts of the lip syncing that are off as well.

Well considering they didn't use all of the Better videos (I.e. Bucket) and used other 2006 vids that aren't that tune, the lip syncing is not perfect and usually aren't in these compilation videos. Again, it is real. Those are professional cameras recording the backstage vids, not well executed but it is legit gear

This. The OP thinks some "fan" got access to all that footage and just cut it all up himself. Yeh....

As I said in the other thread:

I have an instant problem with the Better video, from a marketing point of view.

I essentially think it's a really cool video and you can see it's aimed as an introduction of the "new" Guns n' Roses. I like that idea and I always like video's with live elements like this. It really shows how big this band is and makes them look larger than life. Which is what rockstars are supposed to look like. It's a great way to promote and reestablish yourself.

Which brings me to the problem. It doesn't promote what Guns n' Roses is now. It promotes what Guns n' Roses has been between 2001 and 2010. Which is kind of all over the place. I get that Axl wants to give credit where credit is due (Bucket, Robin, Brain). But as a promoter I'd have a very hard time dealing with this because it showcases something very different from the product (the band) that you're trying to re-establish.

I can see people in suits and offices not wanting to get behind this video.

I think it might have helped CD as well as the band. But it would be very confusing to new fans in the form it's in now.

I can't imagine this video going over well at any point in time. They introduced two keyboard players, two drummers, four guitarists, and a bassist. Plus Axl that's 10 god damn people playing in the band in that video. There is no way that the public is going to accept that.

Exactly, and that is why I believe it was never released.
