The part with Axl in the car at the start looks like something filmed for a music video.....and it's pretty much exactly as it was rumored to be - live footage, Lars, etc. Also, the little red dude on his shoulder is from what was supposed to be the re-released cover coinciding with the Better video...it seems to add up.It's a bit strange. Some of it is a little cheesy, and I don't know why they're highlighting guys who weren't in the band anymore. I think it's legit, they just weren't happy with the finished produce and shelved it. A lot of people here think it's cheesy, and it's sort of pointless to highlight and introduce members of the band who aren't in the band anymore.Well, at the time of the video Idk if it was that clear that brain or finck was in or out of the band completely. I do think regardless Axl wanted to pay homage to the former members and recognize them for what they did. Realistically the band would never release a video with Bucket again, or brain, or finck. Plus, at the time of the editing Axl said in our chats that he was open to the idea of working with Bucket again, maybe not band member wise but in terms of touring and/or collaborating. No need to be bitter and diss former members there.Who knows? Maybe Axl didn't like that those former members were being highlighted at all, so he got pissed and refused to release it.Maybe he wanted to release it, and the label kept claiming they were going to, but never did? Hell, it makes sense they'd wanna sabotage this band because common sense says a gnr reunion would have made a ton of cash instead of current GNR.I imagine Axl and company know about this by now, so hopefully we'll hear a response of some sort soon. If not whatever, but I would be curious to what even bumblefoot thinks. I would imagine SOMEONE from the band will comment at some point. IMO, it's a solid video and I think it's cool to see Axl and the boys happy in the video. As much as I'm frustrated with the lack of new music I'm pretty happy with this group besides that. Hopefully this is a signI think some of it's real, and someone finished it up. Beginning and ending were definitely intended for the video. Everything else in between - debatable. Whatever was going on in 2008 is why this was never released, but something's better than nothing in this case. All GNR have to do is hold a contest, put the raw footage out for people to download, and winner gets dibs on making the "official" version. They were in a tough spot with Bucket not being in the band anymore, not like they could round up the gang and have some huge concept video. If they did they'd either have to convince Bucket and Brain to come stop by or pretend they weren't on the album.Cool to see behind the scenes clips. I think it was an excellent decision not to ever release the video Bucket, Brain and Robin were out of the picture when the album was released.
