GNR123GNR456
Come off it. There have been several shows, of a similar calibre, announced to date without any pre-announcement hype. In fact, everything so far has been announced fairly under the radar with absolutely no tangible buzz.'GN'R to make concert announcement @4PM' is another example of deliberately misleading the fanbase into a false frenzy. It is another case of ambiguity with multiple legitimate interpretations. This could have been and indeed was interpreted for a lot of people as plurally. 'Concert announcement' is a phrase that can be used plurally, as the tweeter would have been able to recognize assuming he holds an IQ greater than that of a walnut. What we need as a community is a tweeter capable of not relaying everything with the integrity and exaggeration of a 14 year old fangirl. 'GN'R to add another US gig @4PM' would have avoided this unnecessary negativity.Exactly.
Street Of The Blues
Cool, how about a full canadian tour like in 2010. We got the first taste of the jungle that year and it was fucking awesome, play moncton and halifax and i'll be there.
bt88
So I live in Buffalo and this is a great venue to see a show. It's right on the water. Lots of room to stand. If anyone is traveling feel free to hit me up if you have questions about where to eat/hangout etc. This is a fun town if you know where to go. Whoever in this thread called it the "asshole of America" probably hasnt been here. Edited May 1, 2013 by bt88

Dariablue
That's kind of hilarious actually. Sometimes being a GNR fan you just have to laugh. Even volcano should be able to see the humor in this.I have to admit it's a "WTF" moment.Which would be a normal response. Not the "let's think of a bullshit out." Thanks for being smarter than your ilk, volcano.

TheSeeker
The Outer Harbor is a fucking joke. Imagine a giant abandoned parking lot. I live in Buffalo - I will not be going to this. They should have teamed up with Buffalo Place for a concert at Canalside - much nicer space for a concert outdoors in the city. TheSeeker
we're creating euphoria for nothing, they said "concert announcement" not "tour announcement" or "major concert announcement" This.I'm interested to see how many people show up, for better or for worse. The Mighty Mighty Bosstones had over 10,000 at this venue last summer, that's a massive crowd by their standards.GNR is *not* playing the same venue that Bosstones did last year. Bosstones played Canalside as part of a free concert series - that space is right next to HSBC Arena. The Outer Harbor is way the hell out of the way - there's no bars/restaurants within a mile of it. Gonna check out Chicago and ZZ Top this year at Artpark...I wish Bad Company wasn't while I'm in Europe though Artpark started charging because a couple years ago when it was free they got like 40,000 people for ZZTop and Lynard Skynard in consecutive weeks, and all the Lewiston residents complained that there was too many people, haha.So the charge for admission is actually to keep attendance down. The Outer Harbor is a fucking joke. It's a pain in the ass to get to, and since there's only one ramp to get in/out of the Outer Harbor, I'd expect no less than 3 hours delay getting in and out of there for a major concert. The Outer Harbor isn't even serviced by Buffalo's lightrail, so you can't even take a train to beat the crowds. Not worth it.

Had to park over a mile from the amphitheater, took forever to get back to the Robert Moses Parkway, etc. Looking forward to smaller crowds, because it is a really cool venue
