TombRaider
I wondered that myself when I first heard it. But like someone said, it's supposed to be played while you're watching a movie. Maybe in that context, it doesn't sound as bad. I have no idea what Slash was thinking though.
Mindray11
I didn't like it but it does sound atmospheric.even my toilet sounds more atmospheric than this.
Damn_Smooth
What in the holy hell did I just listen to? Careful, the same people that love to crap all over GN'R in D&N like to report people for saying anything bad about Slash here. It hurts their feelings. Crash Diet
Maybe I dont get it, but isnt this suppose to be for the movie? Its not exactly something you listen to standalone, is it? Like said above, its suppose to be heard within the context of the movie. I dont think its very good, but this is the first time where I actually enjoyed Myles' vocals and at least they attempted something besides plain old rock n roll, which is getting tiresome from Slash. He should keep experimenting like this for the next album, just make it good next time. I do enjoy the dark tone and atmosphere, just failed a bit on the delivery.my thoughts
Nosaj Thing
It's a very simple soundtrack. Axl's fans are so clueless that they don't even know what an OST is.
Rovim
Myles sounds pretty good here, but other then that the song is not something I would be interested in listening to more then once. It's for a movie so I don't really have a problem with it. TeeJay410
honestly i think it's better than apocalyptic love. It sounds great for a horror movie. I even like Myles vocals for once.

Point me to a better OST made by a rock singer and guitarist for a horror movie. That's right, you can't 'cause you don't know jack shit about movies. Thanks for showing your ignorance. ZoSoRose
I thought the tune has some really cool ideas and parts. As someone said, it doesnt pick up though. It had potential to be really, really cool though.I liked Myles though and as a sound track piece I guess its fine
jmapelian
I'd call it a cool throw away piece - listen to it once or twice, maybe see the movie and how it fits, and then forget about it
vaida
Atmospheric - Yes, full on Slash solo Epic - No I found the original poster's post somewhat offensive, not very sympathetic. If they didn't like it, then fair enough. Maybe they are 12 years old or something like that? Edited July 27, 2013 by vaida
LA_0013
Music aside, I wonder how good this film is gonna be. Really enjoyed Devil's Rejects by R. Zombie. This look like a different type of horrorLA
darknightfan
It says theme song right? Shouldn't it be able to standalone?

Rovim
It needs to have nothing to do with AxlI don't think Axl will ever want to work with Slash again anyway. Kinda off topic, but they're not really interested in making the same kind of music anymore.

Damn_Smooth
And you guys know what sort of music it is that Axl wants to make? What exactly have you heard from him in this decade that qualifies you to say this? A 5 year old album with 10+ year old songs doesn't really clarify his current musical tastes. Not that that should need saying.Maybe you should share the answer with Axl though, then he might be able to get around to doing something. moreblack
I would argue though, that 5 year old album was a pretty clear statement of what direction he's leaning. Gonna have to assume that's still the case until proven otherwise.
wfuckinga
I think it's a good song if you remember this isn't a Rock N' Roll album, it's a soundtrack for a horror film.
