username
117°-Izzy StradlinWouldn't really count it as a comeback album. One of my favorite Izzy albums, but not a comeback album. Does Back In Black count as a comeback? Since it was the first after Bon died? Maybe Springsteen's The Rising? And then there's The Eagles' Hell Freezes Over. As well as Long Road Out Of Eden by the way. Aerosmith's Permanent Vacation. Black Crowes' Warpaint.

I would count Back In Black as a comeback album as well.

Yeah it's the biggest fuckin' mystery since the JFK assassination! See, that self harming things a load of bollocks, the connotation or association there is that he sat around in his room weeping and cutting himself but, as far as I'm aware, it was a one time shock tactic type thing that he did during an NME interview, it's not like he was some fuckin' 00s emo kid.But I mean no body found or nothing, its odd...then again, it depends on where the waters from that bridge go to. luciusfunk
Would you count Mother's Milk? It's in the same vein as Back in Black. Their guitarist died, drummer quit. Maybe Californication as well. Frusciante came back after Navarro had taken guitar duties.

Chewbacca
I think I would also make a honorable mention to We've Come For You All by Anthrax and Death Magnetic, because they followed some serious shit and weren't bad albums actually, just not outstanding. Apparently in the motor they found like, Ginsters packets and stuff bought from the service station there...so he'd been like, living in his motor? It was originally supposed to be a Mustaine solo album.

Dan H.
Brave New World - Iron MaidenAchtung Baby - U2 Is Achtung Baby really a comeback album?I would consider it one. Since 'The Joshua Tree' was a huge success.I don't consider Rattle and Hum to be a real LP, since it's a compilation.Whoever said MBV, great pick.Reflektor is a pretty good comeback album as well.I can't think of many others off the top of my head. But I feel like there are a few others that I'm not thinking of.
