The GIow Inc.
Thanks for the reminder, Broski. I really hope that Khalil Amir Sharieff gets a nod for 'Hey Lil Mama'.

Broskirose
Can we confirm that Robin Finck will be performing? Bumblefoot is attending the Grammys.I think so. Finck and James "Munky" Shaffer from Korn: This is from NAMM. At this point it's a little unclear if it will be all of NIN or just Trent. This was posted on Facebook. Tune in to The GRAMMYs tonight for a special performance with Nine Inch Nails, Queens of the Stone Age, Dave Grohl and Lindsey Buckingham No Robin to be seen, but it does still say "Nine Inch Nails." bacardimayne
If they bill Trent and the Stone Fighters as "Nine Inch Nails" it'll be the biggest travesty since Myles and Gilby were billed as GNR at the HOF.

Guest NGOG
If they bill Trent and the Stone Fighters as "Nine Inch Nails" it'll be the biggest travesty since Myles and Gilby were billed as GNR at the HOF.Trent qualifies as NIN to be fair. Easily. While I fucking love Finck, in terms of NIN, he's a touring guitarist. Edited January 26, 2014 by NGOG
bacardimayne
I'll let Broski handle this.
Broskirose
In reality, Trent can just show up by himself and call it NIN.But the current lineup according to Trent himself is Trent Reznor, Robin Finck, Alessandro Cortini and Ilan Rubin. Therefore, at this current moment it does need to have Finck to be considered NIN. Edited January 27, 2014 by Broskirose
classicguns4life
If they bill Trent and the Stone Fighters as "Nine Inch Nails" it'll be the biggest travesty since Myles and Gilby were billed as GNR at the HOF.Axl and Izzy were invited and decided to disappoint everyone. Slash, Duff, Matt and Steven don't like to do that so they got the next best thing. The travesty is solely in Axl's hands. Don't blame it on anyone else. Broskirose
It's not about who showed up. It's about what they called themselves. It was not Guns N' Roses. Also this is shit so far.
classicguns4life
It's not about who showed up. It's about what they called themselves. It was not Guns N' Roses. There's nothing to talk about in terms of the Grammys so I will continue.Axl and his current band of misfits isn't Guns N Roses either. Guns N Roses was honored, most of them showed up. Just because two of them didn't means they shouldn't have called in Guns N Roses? Thats not really fair to them. If you agreed that Axl shouldn't be calling his band Guns N Roses since 2000, then ok. But you can't have it both ways. It was more Guns N Roses than we've seen since 1993. Broskirose
That's what you want. It's not the reality.
Powerage5
Nope. We're not turning the Grammy's thread into a GN'R debate.
classicguns4life
No, thats just logical. Do you really consider Axl with other musicians more Guns N Roses than Slash, Duff, Matt, and Steven with a different singer and rhythm guitarist? The least you can agree with is that neither should be called Guns N Roses, even though I think the latter has more legitimacy to call themselves so. Broskirose
I don't care what they're called. But they are GNR whether you like it or not. This debate has been had before. If you want to believe they aren't, go ahead.Chicago should have played by themselves. So should Gary Clark Jr. Keith Urban is fucking dreadful. ZoSoRose
Congrats to Macca/Nirvana, Black Sabbath, and LED FUCKING ZEPPELIN on winning! This is Zep's first win, and although the Grammy's are retarded, I am still pretty psyched. Well, well deserved
